Osu! thread

Just if anyone else plays this game here.

My favorite map so far is probably this one on lunatic:

Starting to get into 5 stars but I still suck. =P

So far this is my favorite beat map to play.

I’ve actually grown to like the ranking system in this game.

These are probably my new favorites:

I just found out about it about a month ago, even though I played EBA when it first came out. I’ve tried playing cookiezi style (w/ a tablet) but I prefer my mouse. My favourite map right now is probably

I’m not that good yet, I can pass a handful of 5* songs, but I can mostly only do 4 1/2 stars

Yeah I used to play EBA as well, I couldn’t imagine playing some of these songs on a DS.

I play with mouse/keyboard. 3000 DPI and the Numpad 2 / Decimal for my input.

Yeah I’m still working on finding the right five stars, I think the main thing is they can’t have a really high bleed rate or else I’ll fail it all day.

And my profile https://osu.ppy.sh/u/2702714

The first 5 star song I passed was this
tried a bunch of others without so much luck though.

I picked this back up recently. Been using an Intuos CTL480 and Cherry MX Red switches, which feels pretty nice. Working my way up to Dance/Insane 5stars.

One of my more recent favorite maps: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/148003

I use a Coolermaster QuickFire Stealth (Brown) Keyboard + Huion H420 Tablet.

1.3k PP without a single SS… :’(
I use a Ducky Shine 3 w/ MX Reds and a Huion 420.

My profile and a little replay.

I’m mostly a taiko player, and am just getting back into osu.

This map is upsetting

I like how the hit sounds was louder then the music, so that it sounded like someone was checking radiation levels and when ever you hit a stream it would go off the charts.

Sorry, but what is osu?

It’s a rhythm game made by Peppy. It’s based off of the DS game “Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan” the prequel to “Elite Beat Agents”.

If you’re not familiar with those this wiki page goes over the core game mechanics.

It’s all free to play you can get it here.

Since I’m having issues with screencapping replays, enjoy this SuperDoublePeppy™ link:

It’s Taiko. Get good at Taiko.

Out of curiosity, what sort of setup do you use with Taiko?

It seems that I have a tendency to S things only when I’m in class.
