This is different from the normal “One yo-yo on a deserted island” theme. The reason is that on a deserted island I am not daily barraged by new, compelling yo-yo’s to buy and try out.
One yo-yo for the rest of my life? That means that I would have to be content with one yo-yo; today and forever. That is just not possible. Even my beloved Draupnir will eventually be dethroned by something even more new and awesome.
So, I am calling this a trick-question. There is clearly no answer that can possibly be satisfactory.
