Let’s not forget that no matter how easy it is (and I’m not saying it is; just giving benefit of the doubt) it’s going to take individual attention per-piece. That’s a labor and time investment.
Yup it’s actually difficult to do right and it is very labor intensive. We don’t currently have an anodizer who can do this to our satisfaction but if we can find one we’ll do more.
Sounds sweet. Can’t wait till more come out!

David, each yoyo had slight differences with the fade right?
Or did you measure the exact spot?
Lol, when you said David, i was like Huh? What?
They are done by hand so each one will be different.
Nice! ;D
man, that colorway looks pretty sweet!
What’s the finish on these? I’m guessing acid wash?
The finish is the physical surface of the yoyo.
It’s still the same finish as any other benchmark.
Acid wash, splash, maple drip, fade, etc. refer to the dye of the oxidation layer of the aluminum.
^Cool.
sorry if i already missed it on this thread, but i heard you guys were doing a collaboration with general yo? i think this would be awesome, i have a summit so i know what comes out of a collaboration with you guys involved
