I always say this, “I will win” It’s not about the other person, cause you can’t control them. It’s about you, doing what you can, and doing it to your maximum. i keep saying I will win this thing, not because I really think I will, but because I will win in the end. I win if I get past the first two rounds in my eyes, because I’m really not afriad to lose. For me, this is a test for my own abilities. I could care less if I go against Josh, or Yomagic, or any of those other sponsored peeps. Sponsored doesn’t instantly make you the best, and it shouldn’t be a thing that stops you from trying your best. I’m doing my best, and that’s all I can do.

You others need to do the same, how I see it.

Oh I’m telling myself that I’ll win, and I honestly think I have a chance.

By win I meant pass the first round. I don’t think I’m going to do myself much harm in saying that I’m probably not going to win the entire battle XD

Well at 51 votes to 4 votes, I think it’s safe to say I am moving on.

I would like to know what the time constraints are going to be for the 2nd round. I made my combo already and it’s 39 seconds long. Need to know if its too long so I can do a different combo.

Nah you’re cool. The whole 30 second thing is more of a suggestion than an actual rule. Besides, 39 isn’t much of a stretch.

I think round 2 should have a them for what style tricks you should do. For example Round 2 could be flowy style tricks, Round 3 could be long minute combos of fast intensness, Round 4 could arm tricks or something… IDK just an idea. I definitely think Round 2 should be maximum of 1 minute long instead of 30 seconds.

I disagree. If fast yoyoers (such as me) had to do flowy tricks for the first round, then well, flowy players would advance we. We shouldnt discriminate against other styles. I say its fine as it is. Maybe the rank matching system could be worked on, but I think it’s working. Are we making a loser’s bracket?

I tend to agree with YoyoJordan. The format could be updated for next year (or not!) to somehow allow styles to be showcased, but I’m not sure how you’d turn that into a competition format.

I don’t think you can have a competitive format that requires certain styles of tricks. At least not a bracket.

There will not be a losers bracket. The only people that lose that will be going again are the people who lose out in semi-finals. Competing for 3rd place.

There will not be a losers bracket. The only people that lose that will be going again are the people who lose out in semi-finals. Competing for 3rd place.

Makes sense. There would be a bit too much voting and video making.
