Awesome! So looking forward to this! And even in the all-too-likely event that I get destroyed, I’ll hopefully be doing a battle with HipposLoveCereal in the near future, which should be fun.
If Monday is okay, Finals is tomorrow and Wednesday for my college classes. I am starting studying for second test in an hour or so. I would prefer Monday for this reason, so if we could, I would greatly adore it.

I agree that this is an absolutely fantastic idea, and after the clear success that this one is having I’m sure many more people would be up for entering this next year. I agree with the idea of ranked brackets though, lest pros that are part of these boards just come in and wipe the floor with everyone.
Hopefully as time goes on you could get more sponsorship as well, so bigger and better prizes. =D
The plan is for this to be as big and important as an actual contest one day. With actual sponsors and sweet yoyos as prizes. coughdeadlyspinscough

With the right marketing and stuff next year I don’t see why it couldn’t become quite the event. Have someone with a bit of design experience produce a poster, spread it around on a few sites/forums (where permitted), maybe try get Steve Brown to spread the word on yoyo news… before you know it you’d have the biggest E-vent on the yoyo-ing calender.
Poor Alex… he’d have an ungodly amount of videos to get through… =P

I always say this, “I will win” It’s not about the other person, cause you can’t control them. It’s about you, doing what you can, and doing it to your maximum. i keep saying I will win this thing, not because I really think I will, but because I will win in the end. I win if I get past the first two rounds in my eyes, because I’m really not afriad to lose. For me, this is a test for my own abilities. I could care less if I go against Josh, or Yomagic, or any of those other sponsored peeps. Sponsored doesn’t instantly make you the best, and it shouldn’t be a thing that stops you from trying your best. I’m doing my best, and that’s all I can do.
You others need to do the same, how I see it.
