I am thinking of geting a new yoyo and I was leaning towards the dark magic. any sujestions?

yea protostars are the best plastic yoyo
and are unresponsive

Considering that your favorite yo-yo is a YoMega Dash and your favorite trick is Brain Twister, the ProtoStar is definitely a good decision and a step forward in becoming a better yo-yoer.
It’s amazingly sturdy and you won’t worry too much about keeping it in good condition unlike the Dark Magic and its metal rims.

get what looks coolest. i assume you are a beginner so you dont have very many preferences yet. just get what looks cool, and then you will have more guidelines.
