Losing all of the 4a yoyos that I brought on stage to compete, only for a person to throw one back to me and then proceed to lose it again before the time ended
Actually really want to try one just to see how bad it is. And I can already see your next reply be.
“I promise you don’t want that”
Haha oddly I get 50+ upvotes for mail day photos but like 5 on trick circles on reddit too.
I guess I’ll stick to mail day photos only on there.
Funny how that works innit? Lol
Spend money? Goooood👍
Practice? Meh
For example, Mail day:
Trick circles :
Yes, yes you did, but it frightened me!
Even I have no idea how that works to be completely honest, if that’s of some comfort for you.
What I can tell you is that absolutely no one is targeting you and downvoting you because they don’t like you. There’s a small group of trolls in there who downvote everything, and posts that doesn’t overcome that fastly with upvotes seems like they got massively downvoted for some reason.
Me and a couple others watch almost all trick posts. I take the time to do that as much as I can.
Ah, haha it’s okay. I actually don’t really mind I just wanted to jump on the bandwagon and have a good moan .
Reddit is a different culture anyway not just for yoyos and for everything else. it just be like that haha
That makes sense, as anyone with an account on reddit can go on any sub and just troll things.
I found out it’s best not to voice an opinion on most subreddits…the video game community is hugely toxic.
Picking up a fixed axle and jamming the strings on the first throw.
If you regularly yoyo with friends, one thing we used to do is wind the yoyo in one direction halfway, then wind it all the way in the other direction. When your friend proceeds to throw a breakaway, stop what you’re doing and stare… Satisfying for you, unsatisfying for your friend.
I could probably guess @codinghorror’s least satisfying yoyo experience - it starts with D and ends with 8
I would say my most satisfying experience was when I learned how to do spirit bomb after 10 straight days of practicing
Your comments got me curious. As i expected my suicides are not clean.
My most satisfying experience throwing was just now when i threw 5 CLEAN suicides in a row after dozens of misses and unclean landings… most unsatisfying when i realized i never hit record cause i thought there’s no way it would happen anyway.
Never say never…
I have a similar one. After trying to land Black hops for weeks!!!
The first time I actually landed it I was so satisfied that the camera was running to capture that glorious moment.
Most unsatisfied to find out that it was recording like this… it looks like I’m recording behind a Bathroom window
When you think you have some response pads but the adhesive is no more.
Just unsatisfying, the most would be injuring myself, but fortunately other than a sore elbow now and then, not yet. So yes, sore elbow would be “most”.
I threw a horizontal throw and it came back and hit me right in the ear. Had a bump there for weeks
So, I decided to try to save the throw. Ordered regular small pads so I can swap out that thick orange one. Hoping that flush pads make it less snaggy. And if the tug response suffers some lube should do. Can let you know how it goes if you’re interested.
This happened to me but with the axle stripping instead of the response pads
Cutting the string on the wrong side of the finger loop…
amen!
