Staring at a Rev-G in a glass case at Goldenapple, so many years ago.
Letting my eyes pass the amazing look of the carbon fiber into my mind.
Drawing the conclusion that ‘Nobody’ would go to the trouble to make such a slick looking yoyo, unless it was some sort of ‘Goodness’.
Buying the yo-yo and instantly realizing it SUCKED like no other yo-yo that comes to mind.
…Keeping it… thinking my mad modding skillz would save the day.
Eventually realizing that even my will and experience, could achieve Nothing.
…period
I finally got myself to sit down work on some bearings today. I put a moderate amount into the Moonshine, picked it up for a couple test throws, and couldn’t put it down for an hour. I’m really blown away at how much the response improved. It’s now consistent no matter how I call it back, and it doesn’t feel like it’s gotten more sensitive (though I did lose some spin time). The weight is a lot less scary when it behaves predictably too. I’m finding I have to be careful about throw strength as I’m learning stalls, though. I’d like to hear how it turns out for you, and I definitely recommend the lube!
Monster
Nice, sounds promising. Thanks for the update. Will definitely let you know how the pad change (likely plus lube) works out.
I thought you meant the throw
Surely he couldn’t have meant the person?!
An unsatisfying experience for sure is getting a bit tired of it all
Spacer came installed backwards on duncan skyhawk, first throw after flipping it back and a response pad falls off. I’ve sworn off duncan yoyos
I hear ya. I always come back to Yo though. Breaks are good though. A few years ago I got pretty good at looping and then I just could not do it anymore. Poof! I went from 25 good loops most of the time to nothing. I lost the hand movements. I put all my yoyos away - out of sight for months. I’m still shy of trying to revisit looping.
Thinking you successfully untied a knot when all it did was make things worse.
The aurora. Huge box holding the absolute worst piece of titanium ever. Total suckyness.
I see you haven’t tried the BSP yet because nothing can be worse than that in the titanium realm
I love my BSP. I’m guessing you don’t own one.
Man I love my aurora
Hated it the second I threw it. Traded it to a kid in Texas for a large box of magic. I mostly did it for the gold arcane deck.
Not anymore, walked the dog with it so much that I rounded the rims with it though since it made for a simple pocket throw but hated the axle system so much and it just never played too well for me.
I was a much bigger fan of the titaniums kyo did at the time like the tiphiter 2 and tirade.
Wish that was filmed
When u go to wyyc and tickets r sold out so u can’t get in the venue and realize u just wasted $500 on a round trip flight.
