And are WELL worth it. A very underrated yoyo.
agreed! and can be tough to come by, as opposed to a confusion gt…
they’ll also snap
like an alligator if you aren’t careful
The GT never did it for me. The reg Confusion was exactly what I was looking for (shape-wise) as far as a modernized mid-school throwback style yoyo.
Yeah, the Confusion is awesome but shaped like a Cold Fusion GT. The Confusion GT is much, much wider. I have heard of at least one person that put in the slim pads and likes it as a semi/unresponsive. I much prefer the Confusion, but the naming scheme does cause a little bit of… confusion. It’s one of the few throws I keep a spare (b-grade) as a backup.
You have a few options;
- Do a Looking For (LF) post on the BST
- Wait until May when YYF does its annual B-Grade sale and hope one comes up before someone else snags it.
- Keep pestering @yyfben2.deactivated that there needs to be another run of straight Confusions in some new color ways because I would like to get a clear one and galaxy would be cool to. Its a great yoyo.
Option 3! Option 3!
I fully support this.
I’d love to be able to pick up a Confusion, and as long as we’re making requests I’d also like to see the Golden Galaxy colorway come back.
This summer!
Ooo tell me more Haha. Also thanks guys and yyfben2 they summoned you for my question Haha. I want a bumblebee themed confusion B) and a hot pink/purple one too Haha. I have special edition bees I swapped halves that look great! When and how do I check for a confusion? I’m pumped.
Does Duncan plan on making somemore Coldfusion GT?
I’ve had a few requests for a new version of a Starfire so I might have to work on something in the future. But for the present the Duncan fh2 would be a possible contender as well.
The answer to this question is probably the Starfire cc @Simyo as the narrowness of the ColdFusion (and the massive center weight) make it the closest match. Would be lovely to see a new run of that, especially if you can at least justify the center weight with some cool spinny hubstacks
A little told me there might be a stealth run of more Confusions in the future.. who can say, really?
duncan makes the most up to date cold fusion. they own the cold fusion branding to my knowledge after they bought playmaxx way back when.
Fascinating I was not aware of this.. licensing.. sigh.
So it came in monometal and bimetal? Interesting.
Thanks for the love man, I don’t have plans for a metal one with cool spinny hubstacks. But how do you feel about plastic without the stacks?
3d printed? I’m unsure..
It is 3D printed, I don’t have the specs committed to memory but the profile is almost the same and the weight is similar to early 2000s throws.
