Cold Fusion GT by Duncan!

Cold-Fusion-Featured-3000

The mid-school technical style of the early-to-mid 2000’s stands as the undisputed foundation of modern yo-yo play. That golden age of yo-yo innovation is best described as an era of immense sophistication and avant-garde exploration of yo-yo as an artistic medium: for the first time, the limitlessness of yo-yo was being discovered.

(Cold Fusion GT by Duncan Yo-Yo Toys – YoYoExpert)

The original Cold Fusion was around for the entirety of this golden age of yo-yo and was revered for its premium aluminum build and long spin times and stability, which allowed players to really explore the endless nature of yo-yo. Just as pioneers of modern yo-yo, Cold Fusion in hand, blazed forward into the unknown, we return back to where we have already been, taking a closer look at the beauty of the landscape we may have originally brushed over. As we go back and rediscover, we need the proper tool to do so, which was precisely what we created the Cold Fusion GT for.

The Cold Fusion GT has all the features of a modern mid-school yo-yo. It features the weight distribution of a slimline yo-yo, made possible by its bimetal construction, giving it a great deal of stability, while also featuring an inviting slim V-shaped gap, making precise string tricks effortless. Also included is the all-important small bearing, which gives this yo-yo both a strong, long-lasting spin and the mid-school vibe we all love.

Take a trip back to the golden age of yo-yo with the Cold Fusion GT!

Available starting Thursday 11/3 at 8 PM ET!

Honestly I wouldn’t spend $300 for the OG cold Fusion unless your really wanting that nostalgic old school feel from 20 years ago (it was amazing in every way back then, my EDC and it’s got love marks to show).

The new cold fusion. Definitely give you the OG vibe but with some modern improvements. I’ve been enjoying throwing it and walking back down memory lane. It’s an excellent Resposive yoyo capable of most my 1A (i don’t have a ton of heavy tech layered string tricks, no horizontal, and i suck at grinds and finger spins so no comment on any of that)

But if you want a excellent modern twist on a Classic legend then you will not be disappointed with the new cold fusion. If you want a modern unresponsive…i am sure we all have many suggestions for that.

All I have to say is that this yo-yo is RAD! The response out of the box is also a big improvement over the Bi-Bubble Bee. Great power and agility and it has the Duncan Bi-Metal Butterness to it.

Yes it is a limited run…

They are going to stop the run as soon as they find out everybody has one in each colorway.

Don’t be late…

Remember, the Duncan Imperial is a limited run too. Duncan is going to stop production as soon as their counter reaches 30,000,000.
