Im looking into purchasing my first metal yoyo.
Heres some of my choices:
YYF G5
YYF DV888
YYF Yuuksta
RecRev No.9

Which one do you think would be best for a first metal ?
If you guys have any other suggestions for my first metal please suggest some.
my preferences:

  • Below $80 if possible ( The cheaper the better )
  • Something not too heavy, but still heavy enough to have long spins.

eather dv888 or no.9 do remind u that when you mess up a bind or a trick and smash your knuckles they may split

Since I see you like the Northstar (except for the cracking) than the DV888 would be nice for you. If you don’t mind me suggesting something, I would recommend the YYJ Axiom or One-Drop Y-Factor.

Dv888 all the way dude it like 60 bucks and they look rlly cool and play exceptional

Now the DV888 is 45 bucks. That is a complete steal in my opinion.

I think Yuuksta will give you the longest spins. Overall, it’s my favorite.
I can get it to sleep for 8-10 minutes.

If you’re concerned about price, you can go for the dv888 or no.9

I’ve been using metal yoyos for years and now I’m afraid to pick one up again!
