I got a sandblaster.Im going to sodablast my duncan drifter but i don’t know how to make the mask to mask off the response area.Please show me how to do so.

It goes over the anno i believe. You can still see the anno color.
Soda blasting does not go “under” or “over” the anodized coating. With media blasting you are not adding a coating. It’s easily understood if you think about how similar it is to using sandpaper. You are not adding any material. You are giving the surface a texture by removing material. Beadblasting and sodablasting, however, don’t remove very much material. They mostly dent the surface. They do remove some material so it isn’t a good idea to blast an anodized yo-yo. Media blasting should also not be used for removing the anodized layer; it won’t do a good job.
