Young Money Cash Money Billionaires

fixed

Fixed that’s it but it’s lil Wayne bird man billionaires

Guys. Lil Wayne is a joke, period.
I like some rap, but only good rap. like good old stuff… NWA, RATM, etc

1: RATM isnt rap. They are rock with rap elements.
2: Koenigsegg… wrong. There are many modern rap artists that are actually very good. You just have to do some looking, yes many of the “popular” ones are bad, but look beyond the radio and find people with good rhymes and flow.

Jay-Z is a prime example of an excellent rapper. So is Kanye. I suggest listening to their new collab album if you want a good example of rap.

Oh if I had the power to kill this thread…

He looks like a college student trying to act like a high schooler.

Its a good thing I don’t judge artists based on their looks. He’s not bad, but not someone I think I could get really into.

Rap was good. 90’s/early 2000’s. It was real rap, poetry with a beat. That was real stuff. Hip hop has only gone downhill for the most part.

I can mostly agree with this, but I do really like Eminem. And the people Eminem raps with also do real rap (Yelawolf, D12, Slaughterhouse)

A good quote. “Rap used to be word play and passion. But then some kids came and made it a fashion” -MrRhyman

Y U NO HAVE TASTE

My ‘standard’ for what I listen to is this: If I can listen to the rap without any beat, just lyrics being spoken as if it were spoken word poetry, and I would still listen to it, then I’ll listen to it. I’m all about lyrics. I hate when people just listen to music because of the flow or that it ‘just sounds good’

What about 80’s Rap? A Tribe Called Quest? Do they get no love? Founded in 85, and as far as I’m concerned, one of the greatest groups of all time.

Please check out Collective Efforts, I feel like you would dig them.

I think everyone should listen to what they wanna listen to, if you wanna listen to pop, that’s fine, if you don’t, that’s fine too. But NO ONE has ANY right to tell another person what THEY should listen to, and anyone who feels that their taste in music is “better” than anyone else’s should have a reality check. There is nothing more subjective than music.
