Pretty sure the one on the right is 2nd run

You’re right, there were no third run 28s

Only person I know that has one is @SR1

Unsure if he would sell

Ironically, he has the exact one in the picture above

I owned both of them at some point.
Back then trade business was wild. :eyes:

Just curious, did the first run come with the deer-like original logo box or the same boxes that came with the second runs?

Deer-like, though I believe a few were sold directly at competitions etc and had no box

I do indeed have one, but unfortunately it’s one of a few yoyos you’d have to pry out of my cold, dead hands after digging up my casket :joy:

Someone posted about these being lost in the California fires, lots of Peaks including a 28s.

Damn are those Jason Wong’s?

Do you have a link to the post?

Yep looks like a case of Loaded yoyos underneath

It’s on r/throwers, if you mean belonged to him I’m not sure, it was posted by a friend of the owner apparently.

Oh yeah I just saw it on Reddit

The top right case seems like, from what I remember, a part of Jason Wong’s Peak collection

Hope he’s ok

Yeah those are for sure Jason’s :pensive::pensive::pensive:

I didn’t know he lived nearby… damn. Such a shame so much was lost in these fires… not just lives and people’s homes/belongings, but irreplaceable or one of a kind things with historical importance. Famous architecture, libraries of various medias, etc… and now it hits kinda different seeing someone lose something we’re all connected to in this community. So many crazy yoyos gone just like that, man… super depressing. That Peak case alone is worth several, several thousand dollars, and has a few pieces in it that are one of a kind/literally can’t be replaced. Jason had an absolutely NUTS collection, I really feel for him, and not just cause of the yoyos obviously. Hoping him and his family are totally okay and are able to get back to normal life soon enough.

It’s so hard to wrap my head around the loss that is currently occurring. Devastating.

Hope he’d be able to find them

Hey guys, sadly yes I lost almost the entirety of my yoyo collection to the Palisades fire. 3 OG Peaks, probably another 20 or 30 other Peaks and countless other treasures. I’m still coming to terms with it all… In the end though, my family is together and safe, I will be ok in the long term, we are planning on rebuilding and there are so many far less fortunate than myself. Obviously have my hands full with everything but it was nice to see this little note in my email reminding me of the great yoyo community that brought such joy to both myself and my wife.:heart::heart:

Gosh man, that seriously sucks.

You can always replace a yoyo. I’m glad to hear you and your family are safe.
