Let’s talk craft beer (for those legally able to drink)

Fortunately there are a lot of year round beers from local breweries here that are always good. The summer offerings are disgusting.
Fall and winter seasonals will be on the shelves soon though.

I like it better than the spicy farmhouse festive gourd jack-o-lantern nightmare brew

My favourite ones are usually New England IPA, I dont know much about beers but after try many breweries I did my own personal taste.

In London breweries culture is insane, between pub miles, hipster stuff and mainstream stuff there is enough for everyone.

My favourite NEIPA is from Pressure Drop a brewery in London where they just do magic, this one was one of my favourites but every couple weeks they change and do new recipies

I got to fulfill a dream today and go to Treehouse Brewing in Massachusetts. Here for a trip on my anniversary.

Yall got any good sour recommendations?

I really like the Victory Sour Monkey Tripel. It’s got some bite at first but once you aclimate to the sourness it’s darn good. 9abv - Pilsner malts and Tettnang hops.

Another go-to sour is the Dogfish Head Sea Quench session sour. It’s phenomenal. It’s a German hybrid kolsh with black lime, sea salt and lime peel. I feel like they may have changed it recently because it’s only 4.9 abv now and I remember it being higher than that a couple of years ago. The last time I had it (few months ago) it didn’t seem to have been as strong on the black lime, but I may have purchased a dud or something. Not sure… It’s one of my favorites though.

When you get it into a glass and it opens up those black limes really shine. There’s a nice malt and wheat to it. Definitely worth a try.

haven’t read the thread, but i am recently become sober. i was a pretty avid homebrewer and if anyone is interested in buying any equipment let me know. i have an EBIAB system, a glycol system, and two 7 gal stainless conical fermenters i’d like to sell (to buy yoyos)

My recent change in meds have lead to an inability to drink without feeling pretty ill so I’m sober due to circumstances. I kind of miss craft beer.
