Lateral Caps: Dope or Nope?

I was wondering a few things about the lateral caps:

• Overall what’s your opinion(dope or nope)

• Can you play without just one on, without it causing vibe?

• Does it affect the yoyo in anyway(a.k.a: awesome play, crappy play, vibe, dead smooth, looks good, looks bad, etc.)

• How do they feel?(do they feel smooth while finger grinding?

• Things that annoy you about them

oh defiantly! its so weird looking though haha

Dead smooth still! i was shocked! Adds weight which is always opinionated, looks elegant with a clean colorway!

• How do they feel?(do they feel smooth while finger grinding?
Super smooth and slick (But must have dry hands!)

• Things that annoy you about them
Not recessed GOD that annoys me haha, wish it was a deeper wider convex, for even stronger grinds

just wish they recessed further in and had a deeper concave

Quick question before i give opinion does the theory caps come off?

The theory’s caps do not spin, they just have the shape of lateral caps.

Ummm no they do not

They stay in place but just have a very smooth texture so there’s no resistance

And that way you can hold it similar to matador
Or just a really well beadblasted yoyo

They’re really fun and you can do a lot of new stuff on them. I play mine with just one cap (two is a bit heavy for me) and it’s still very smooth. The Quest is also very durable (while I was filming a video, the yoyo flew out of my hands onto the cement and launched about 25 feet while pounding on the ground a ton, picked it up and still smooth). The only thing I don’t like that much is that they’re kind of hard to get out.
