Large vs. small bearing

I know this has been asked many times before, so I apologize, but…

Most yo-yos use a large (C) bearing. It seems like that trend must be there for a reason, but I want to try the alternative to see if I like it better. I have heard that large bearing help with string layers but small bearings supposedly have a longer spin time.

Specifically in regards to 1A & 5A… what are the pros/cons of each in your opinion?

I heard small bearing yoyos tend to snag more…

bigger is better
