Knots

I completely agree. Knots really screw with my flow.

I have what looks like a dentist’s pick, but it’s actually thinner and not as strong. It’s all metal and has two sides. It’s actually used for pulling film from projectors. Anyhow, I keep that with me most of the time as it’s handy for getting out knots. Otherwise, I do have to unscrew as well to remove knots. I’ve sort of resorted to having a bunch of yoyos at the ready so when I do get a knot, I can just switch yoyos fast, then deal with the knots later.

I use tweezers. The ones nice that are nice and long and pointy. They get right in and grab the string to pull it out with ease. I have never nicked the metal. Avoid the one’s that have sharp edges.

I also stole a really long, big sewing needle from my wife’s sewing chest. It works great when I can’t find the tweezers.
