Random small knots keep on popping up in the string after I use the yoyo. What’s causing them?
Not doing tricks properly.
Pretty much what he said. You need to practice your tricks, and slow down to make sure that you do not get a knot. If the string is looped, or you get out of a triangle wrong, then that will cause a knot. Just pay close attention to what you do. If you need to slow down to see, then do it. It’s not worth getting knotted strings. PRACTICE!
Hi, Iget knots doing the boimg boing, Found a useful tool so I don’t have to throw away so much string.
Found a tooth picker with a plastic handle and a curved needle. The kind a dentist uses, this is cheaper, Walgreens version. It works great and saved a lot of string. Don’t need 2 needles to take out knots.
Cheapest way would be to use your fingers to work the knot. But who’s counting?
If you see the knot early yes … After it’s reall tight it’s very time consuming to use fingers …

I notice my knots as soon as I get them. Preinfalk is right, slow down a bit and see what is happening.
Are you sure your knots arent just the string extremely tangled up?
If not, then you just need to work on your tricks.
the most time i spent on a knot was around 10 minutes haha it was huge ;D
leave 'em in…and see if you can come up w/ a new style.
