Mine was pretty bad too, I deshieded it and cleaned with acetone and it’s good now. I’ve noticed a lot of bearings and that yoyos ship with have been either garbage or require some love recently I wonder why.
would be happy to buy them here or clyw direct lol
Hella limited!? ‚Refreshing the page and they are gone’ limited or ‚Don‘t wait until tomorrow‘ limited (like with the Unknown Wish)
These are the important questions
…….I can all of a sudden play YoYo behind my head. ………
Klondike plays itself! Oh my.
Happy cake day from cake day! @LeftyThrower24
Two years to the day
Too………
Klondike can take a hit.
I have an unhealthy fixation to thinking about the BBB Klondike… straight up one of the best looking yoyos I’ve ever seen. Need this thing to drop soon, but can’t imagine it’ll be before people start getting back from Worlds.
“I’m Austin and I am a CLYW Klondike addict. Ya see it all started when Spence brought the hype back at Nats”
After those weeks of heavy playing with the Klondike I have to say that is a majestic yoyo for real, now I am kind of curious to try the Kagerou (which I cannot afford anyway lol) but the Klondike is insane, first of all it feels good to play with it, so damn stable, great to create combos, amazing spin time, beautiful stability during zontal play (this made me so impressed), it feels good on the string and the size for me is more than right to go through all my combos, during body combos is easy to catch and easy to detect while playing, the weight is just right is not too light and not too heavy it’s easy to push it in faster rail combos, super nice in chopstick tricks and the shape help the rejection.
To me it really feels like a mix of many yoyos I love all in one great product, think that I will buy probably another one of the new colourways to also play with it outside.
Dinged it couple of times I had to put the rings back in place and worked again perfectly, smooth as butter, for real one of my favourite release ever!
Me too! I rapped mine pretty good off the driveway. Had a fairly good amount of fingernail vibe that I couldn’t feel on the string. I did notice however that I could feel one of the rings was out of place. If you run your finger over the seem (SS to aluminum gap) I could feel the displacement. I could really see it however.
Funny enough, a second plow onto my deck pushed it back into place…. Back to smooth… Haha.
I’ve found that this yo-yo plays so good I’m really pushing big tricks, I guess we call them bangers and now I know why.
Mate if this happen again, remove the bearing and the axle, put the 2 halves on a carpet face up (so you can see the return system up) and then gently step on them or push them down from the centre with your hands you will probably hear a click and everything is back in place.
I have done it thousand times with different yoyos and is fine, there is also a tool to realign the rims but this method is quicker if you do not have the tool
The Klondike looks great.
However, am I the only one that noticed that the quality of the colorways appears to be diminishing?
They don’t make them like they used to.
It’s not necessarily the quality my man it’s just the ano changing over the years, different person doing the work etc. A car that was painted a metallic red let’s say 10 years ago, is still usually going to look a little different than the new car painted the exact same color today
Awesome, thanks for sharing. Those are some pretty nice ‚Sleight of Yoyo‘ tricks right there
I feel like it’s an our civic duty as Klondike brethren to post a reminder or any info on those new colorways releasing! Missing out on the BBB would be the worst yoyo day of my life
