something horrible happened to my sbz a while back. my favorite throw. the hub actually popped right out. i forgot how this happened, but here’s a pic.
so i basically glued it back in. i didn’t really expect good results because i wasn’t sure what to do. i just lined the hub up best i could and glued it together. then i actually filled the response groove on that half full of glue (it’s sanded down now, plays really really nice actually) and glued around the hub and sanded it all down after. this is the finished product.
plays real nice with barely any vibe.
if you’re wondering about the weird stuff right under the rims, that’s just glue haha… chunks of plastic actually fell out a while back and it was obviously very uncomfortable to grind with. it’s two different colors because i used a different filler for the second piece that fell out.
