The lower price makes me wonder 
Better is a tough word, because it’s so subjective. I can say that most who have played both prefer the Overdrive from what I’ve seen.
Don’t let the lower price make you worried, YYR is putting out stuff just as good as they used to, they’re just doing it more cost effectively now.

I have both, and it’s tough to call one better than the other but I find myself picking up the Overdrive more often. How many years since draupnir was released? I imagine YYR learned a thing or two.

It feels so slow and clunky really… comparing anything to the perfect yoyo that floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee is ludicrous…

You are exactly correct my friend… it doesn’t really matter at all… that’s the key! As long as you can state how the throw feels in your hands and are sure in your self-description of your feelings… then it doesn’t matter what others think or feel about it… you like it and that’s all that matters…
