Hey, my name’s Stephen and I’ve been practicing seriously for a few weeks, though I’ve had a couple of yoyos for a few years. This time around I’m interested in learning more of the intermediate and advanced string tricks and maybe eventually freestyle. My oldest son (turning 12 next week) started yoyoing about a month ago. I’m looking forward to learning together with him and eventually my younger son (who is 8 now).

i’m on other boards but i like it here too. i’ve been throwing for 10 almost 11yrs (since 99’) and according to mastermagic.net i’m and can do all the expert level tricks and a few of the master level tricks are my favorites.
i can’t do all the master level trick yet. but soon.
i can do spirit bomb with my eyes closed so i guess that should tell you were my skill level is.
but i look forward to talking more with all you on here. ;D

Hello all. My name is Jon and I have been messing around with yo-yos for a few years but never really tried to learn any of the real fun stuff until recently. Right now I have a cheapo duncan mosquito and have learned a few things but it is holding me back now. When I get my tax return I am going to get a Dark Magic and I am quite excited.
hi I’ve been yoyoing for about a year on wallmart and toys r us yoyo’s at work. a copple of us try diffrent things and about 1 month ago i thought about looking for yoyo’s on the net and OMG to see what people were doing. just last week i told them where i got my darkmagic and where i was learning my tricks lol

Yo, this is Zack. Currently I am 24 and loved to compete in fighting games as a hobby. Lately I just got a munchies to play yoyo once again. It been 10 years since I got my Yomega Fireball yoyo. Right now I am re learning yo again. LOL!!! My hobbies included eating, tennis, video game, sleeping and customizing personal arcade joystick. Yo what’s up everyone- My name’s Tony… I just registered on this board, but I have been lurking for a while. I started yo’ing in 97 or so as a kid, and although I have been keeping up with what’s going on, I have not done a whole lot in recent years. I’m gettin’ back into it though! I have a pretty large collection. Yomegas were among my first yoyos as well. I too enjoy fighting games… so much that I have my own Neo Geo arcade cabinet. I also only use joysticks when playing console fighters - like the Hori RAP.
My main passion is music though, I play drums & percussion and love gettin into underground bands. I also do Isshin-ryu karate. Well, I guess that’s it. Lookin forward to chatting on here

I’m MaxL, a guy going into college next year who works at a Electronics store. I’ve been yoing for a couple of months now (although some of those months I kind of lost interest but now I’m picking it up again).
I’m a total n00b, I just got my PGM and all I can do is the beginner section and some of the intermediate tricks (Man on the Trapeze and Double or Nothing) I can do a Front Style bind but I still can’t get the side style.
Hoping to get good enough to impress some day.

My name is Martin Smith (aka Musli4brekkies), I am an beginner YoYo-er from the UK and bought my first YoYo about a week ago. It is a Butterfly style YoYo and I am currently working on my Sleeper (because it sucks :P).
I hope to get much better as I practise. 
My other hobbies involve Speedcubing (solving the Rubik’s cube and other puzzles as fast as possible) and I average around 20-25 seconds to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s cube. I also Horseride in my spare time.
I have been lurking the forum for a little while and you seem like a tolerant bunch, so I hope I don’t seem like too much of a noob.

How’s it goin? I’m Kyle, i currently have a Dark Magic, Plastic Grind Machine, and a Bigyo. I’m currently halfway through advanced section. I found this by Binging expert yoyo’er and found this. I had a Freehand 2 when i found this and thought, i have $50 hole burning in my pocket so i ordered a DM. And now i just can’t put a yoyo down. I am popular at my school because of yoyoing and I give lessons during lunch. I do 1a, 3a, 4a, and 5a, i just can’t seem to get 2a. Well… thats pretty much it…

Hey All,
I’m in my early thirties and just started playing with my daughter’s yoyo that she got in her stocking for Christmas recently. It’s one of those jobs that lights up and auto-returns when it’s going too slow. I haven’t played with a yoyo since the Duncan Butterfly I had as a kid in the 80s. It was a far cry better than the cheapie I’m using now, but any day now my new throws will be here. I CAN’T WAIT (yes, I’m screaming like a little girl)!!!
My other hobbies do/have included: Motorcycles, RC nitro monster trucks, juggling/unicycling, playing instruments… This is definitely one of the safer and cheaper hobbies I’ve undertaken so my wife is probably relieved. ;D
