My name is Lennon. I’m going on 13 in age. I’ve been yo-yoing for about 5 months and I’ve already learned the Spirit Bomb yo-yo trick. I got in to yo-yoing because my friend showed me it. My friend is a yo-yo fanatic. He’s only 11 years old and he’s almost pro. My favorite yo-yo is the Train Wreck 2 by Spyy. I like yo-yoing because it’s a way of expressing my self, and also it’s fun.
Yo Lennon! I’ve been yo-yoing for 5 months too, and it sounds like we’re on the same level, though I’m going on to master. That’s mostly because of the forums’ help though!

Kinda new to yoyo but I’m much intereste in 2a or looping tricks cause they seem much fun

Hey whats up? I’m Benny. I’m 25 from New York. I’m trying to get into this yoyo stuff. But dont know where to start. Whats some good yoyos to start off with to learn tricks? I have a red and blue duncan butterfly which dont work very well cause they are a few years old.

Hello Benny! I suggest the Velocity or Kickside. They can be responsive and then can change to unresponsive very easily. If you need to learn responsive, I would suggest you also get some thick lube to help aid in the responsiveness of the yoyo.

Thick Lube:
Once you get into the level of unresponsive play, I would get some thin lube to make the yoyo unresponsive.

hey guyz, im not new to yo-in, working my way through the advanced section in the tricks section of this website. my favorite yoyo is the dark magic, still havent ordered it…
right now i own a duncan throw monkey. awesome yoyo for looping and counterweights. very responsive with fresh brake pads. not the greatest for string tricks (a bit catchy) im using my fast201 until i get my dark magic, and i cant wait for that. everybody have a good life ;D
