37 … married kids … bla bla bla … I’m a professional geek (software developper)… Always had a yo-yo or 12 … never really played (i got em just cause i though they where nice work of engineering)…
So there it goes … monday i pass by a toy shop … i see a metal zero in the window and say to my self … hey i havent bought a yoyo in 8 years (when my son was born)… i start playing and about 15 minutes into it i realize i have expired my “repertoire” … about 10 times …

Now i just realized i spent 3 hours a day practicing yoyo and i cant get enough … who would of know …
so i’m waiting for new yoyos in the mail (ok i’m obsessive … i didnt play and had 8 yo-yos … now thats just going to make 12 …)

i found this website when i was watching André’s tutorials on youtube. i started yoyoing againin june with a “Viper” by Henry’s. it cost something about 33€, converted maybe 45$. It does well for beginning with yoyoing bechause it has a adjustable axle and you can play loop and string tricks with it. in 6th grade i had a yomega with brain, but i borrowed a friend who moved and never gave back to me. :o Now i MUST HAVE a better yoyo, it’s too long till cristmas, so I ordered a Dark Magic!
I HOPE it comes tomorrow or i’ll have to wait THE WHOLE WEEKEND!
with the Dark Magic i can continue with expert part 1.
a first tip of mine: learn “triple tower” on youtube, it’s a great trick but you have to watch the video a couple times…

Hey guys! This is the coolest site ever! i have learned so much in like, a week from this place. before I would hop around from site to site looking for things to learn. Then I saw a video of Andre, my yo-savior, and went on a hunt to find more of his videos. Soon I stumbled across yoyoexpert, and vuala! i am looking a the learn section with my hero throwing down tricks for me to learn. now i am a member and blah blah blah. I Freakin’ Love Yo-yos! I Throw a Henry’s Cobra, Which is pretty decent for a yo-yo noob like myself. Is there a term for people like me? i’d like to know so i feel less of a noob and call myself one. I’m getting better tho i can do a few tricks in the advanced section… any ways thats me in a nutshell. oh ya hey before i forget… What are anyones thoughts for a new yoyo? idk if i am doing this right, but if i am. HI i am cordell, i have skyline yoyo and i am geting a dark magic in a cople of days, i am 15 and my b days march 5. my fav yoyo trick is the zipper, only cause i do it alot to get in to tricks like the ripcord, atomic bomb, split the atom, ect. i found this site a long time ago when i frist started yoyoing, my frist yoyo was the fast 201. i am really good at yoyoing but i have been stuck on a yoyo trick for a long time now. its “goristrofic flop” i hope i spelled it right lol. when i do it, i get it how its sopost to be, but the yoyo dosnt turn to the side like its sopost to, and idk how to get it to turn with out it turning to far and spining out! if someone could help me on it, it would be nice. ty for welcomeing me here, i look forward to being a master of the yoyo.! ty ttyl
