Introduce Yourself!

Hey everyone my name is Alex. I started yoyoing when i was little but not very seriously. i would buy like the wood yoyos by BC. Then i moved onto yomega and had a few brainst, fireball, and fire storm. After a bit i got pretty interested in string tricks and went for a Duncan Freehand and learned the basic string tricks. From there i got went on to get a Lynn fury, yomega raider and exodus. Then fell in love with yoyojam and got the K-os, Spin Faktor, and latest a Hitman and X-convict with Konkave bearings. I have progressively been trying to work my way up to and through master and expert tricks. I have been looking for a good metal latley though because i find my Hitman snags sometimes and i gave the X-Convict to my brother.

Well that’s my story and i hope i can learn from all of you here at yoyoexpert. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask! ;D

Hello, Alex and welcome to the forums! If your looking for a great metal yoyo at a great price, try one of the Yoyofactory FundaMetal yoyos. There’s the DV888, which comes in small and large bearings, Hectic which also comes in small and large bearings, Frantic, and the C13. They’re all available on this site, and if you have any more questions about them, feel free to ask!

I don’t think the C13 is in the fundaMETAL line though, correct me if I am wrong.

Your right, the C13 is part of the Evolution line… I think thats what its called… But its slightly above the FundaMETALS put yet still cheaper than the Top of the line Stacked yoyos…

Along with the BOSS, Genesis135, and the SEVERE.

New one from West Texas here. I am a beginner and am really interested in learning to freestyle.

Hello Yo-Yo experts!

Hey every yoyo trickster out here… My name is J and I am absolutely new on this art of yoyo-ing. This site was introduced to me by my classmate Chris who is already an advanced yoyo tricker. My favorite trick is the walk the dog, you might wonder why… well its because the starting point of yoyo-ing…if you cant land that trick, well then yoyo-ing might not be really for you… so yeah thats it for now .

Well, I’ve been on this site for about 2 months now so I feel its time I get my butt in this forum and introduce myself. So hello all, my name is Mike. I have been Yo’n since I was a kid but just started up again, and I’m stoked that I did. I almost forgot how much fun this is and w/ sites like this I can now pull off string tricks (ya, I’m not that good but I am getting better and fast). Catch you all in the forums ;D

Welcome! We’re glad to have you here. Now what bass is that? I know it’s Fender, but gimme details.

Fender Delux Jazz w/ the active Noiseless pickups!!! I LOVE IT!!! Great clear high’s, awesome mids, and lows that will shake the paint off the side of a house!!! The neck is fast as hell too.

yo im gnomie jr, gnomies apprentice. my favorite yoyo is the legacy, my favorite trick is the the bind but im also a big fan of looping.

Hello. I’ma bit late with the introducing thing, but here I am! I’m Green Triangle :stuck_out_tongue: And that’s about it ;D.

Hi i’m James and i haven’t been yo-yoing long as i am only 15.
Before a thew months ago i didn’t even know about the different types like imperial and butterfly.
I didn’t even know you could do trick until last year when i saw an advertisement showing Hirosaku something doing these stunning tricks.
The main reason i have had a sudden passion for yo-yoing is my friend Chris C was playing with his yo-yo so then i thought wow.
My brother used to have a yo-yo but he never let me use it.

Hey all, my names Cale, and I basically Yo-Yo whenever I have spare time. I started out with a YYJ X-Convict, and then moved up to my current Darkmagic, and now I am looking at a C13. In rating, I’m intermediate to advanced, as I do trick from all around. I love doing grands, as my friends find them cool.

Heya, folks. Some of you might know me in one of two ways:

  1. By my name, Austin Hagerman, or
  2. As the chump who got atomic wedgie’d at the Battle Top Championships after Nationals '09 ended.

I’ve been yo-yoing for about three years now. My buddies Augie Fash and David Mellons got me started on the hobby with a Duncan Freehand Zero. I moved shortly thereafter to the (now-extinct) Spinfaktor HG, and things went from there. I currently use a B-Grade 888. I’m technically part of the Chico Yo-Yo Team, but I’ve never actually competed. Maybe I’ll change that someday.

I’m also a student at California State University, Chico, studying Applied Physics. Appropriate, isn’t it? Hopefully I’ll graduate without losing my mind in the process.

Feel free to hit me up on AIM if you’re ever bored.
