Here’s my mains right now. @BadWolfeCo strings on all since I discovered them. Chopstick Gorilla still my favorite throw, but the ditch is super fun and challenging.
On the hunt for a full size metal organic shape, with a finger spinning dimple. Seems to be difficult to find!

have you seen the recent YYF edgeless yet ?? Its a nice organic throw with a very cool finger spin cup. It’s actually available here on YYE in case your curious.

Hey thanks! I have seen the edgeless, very close to what I’m looking for but the plastic caps scare me. If I were to venture into caps, I’d have to decide between this and the duncan freehand with caps.

Older versions of the edgeless can be found with metal fingerspin hubs, but I’m not so sure of the difference with the current plastic cap ones due to not having played either
A bit of everything, have bought from Yoyoexpert , Aus Yoyo Store, direct from Duncan, direct from Magic yoyo and from AliExpress. What about yourself?
I really like it, I dont have anything properly premium to compare it to but it is probably the best quality feel of any of my throws and is so stable and smooth, expect the Z01 Focus to arrive this week and I will do some sort of comparison.

Try not to mention other yoyo stores as this forum is still run by yoyoexpert, and we need to respect that.

I was asked a question so answered accordingly. How do you suggest I respond in future if asked a question such as “Where did you get that from”?
At this moment in time, I feel like the only possible course of action is to just shrug and point them in a general direction without directly mentioning store names example: “Some yoyo store in (insert country here)”. Though most people on this site likely won’t ask where you buy a yoyo from just to avoid this situation.
Edit to mention that if someone REALLY needs it, you can PM them

Yoyo expert yoyo friends. Strings from monkey finger and zipline. Some weird Chinese online shop called open china cart. Yoyo sam and yoyo yo . Ilike trying to find different online sources to see what they have to offer. I find shipping is a real killer cost wise and lumits what i get

Seems to me from my reading of posts people are naming sources of where they have purchased yoyos regularly
Not a mod, but my take on it is that it’s the linking to other stores that’s really frowned upon, and the mods have used some automatic tools to help prevent some of that.

Fair enough, I’ve seen posts where directly mentioning the store was frowned upon though, and I also think it’s a bit unclear since site guidelines state no direct links to competitor stores, plus I’m not a mod I just joined pretty recently, sorry about that

You are correct. Yoyo Expert, a yoyo store, pays to keep this forum going so not mentioning other yoyo stores (which we are all aware of) is not censorship, it’s just good etiquette. It’s a mistake a good number of us has made. Have fun everyone…we are keeping the child inside of us alive and playing with yoyos. How awesome is that?!?!

So…there you go. Posting a link is a direct violation of the rules. Advertising for another site is a violation as well. I honestly can’t see an issue with simply answering a question as long as you aren’t unnecessarily hyping/advertising another strore.
To be safe though, I’d simply DM someone regarding any other site if it wasn’t a manufacturer’s site.
Rules are rules. We all agreed to follow them when we signed up.
