Hello, my name is Miguel, from Spain.
I am just starting with the yoyo, practising the basic tricks.

Welcome from the USA! What yoyos are you practicing with? Here’s my advice: don’t give up on learning a trick. From my experience the closer you get to learning a trick the more impossible it will seem and the more you will want to give up.

Hey there!

My name is Bruce, I’m 33 and started throwing back in elementary school.
I shelved my old Spintastics Terminator Tornado and Yomega X-Brain just before high school and didn’t pick up another yoyo until I quit cigarettes almost 4 years ago.
I bought a new Yomega Fireball and used it daily to help fight the cravings, and was successful!

Just recently (about 2 weeks ago), I’ve picked up my first unresponsives and have started learning the breakaway throw and 1a style string tricks.

Currently, I’m throwing:
Recess Snack (B-Grade)
Recess Komodo
YYF Monster Edge
OneDrop Intro

Doing my best to learn at least one new trick every other day, cheers!

I started out with the Sage set up unresponsive. Have sense moved to bi-metal and set the sage up for responsive play. Its a fun throw.

That’s awesome!!! Congratulations on stopping the stink sticks. I also quit smoking among other horrible things with the help of a Yoyo.

I too… Put down the vape pen for a Yoyo. Much better choice!

Site improvements are amazing well done! Wish I could remember my old account info :frowning: was using a different email and password back then had well over 100 trades with all positive feedback but it looks like that system may have changed now too! Look forward to some wheeling and dealing! Thanks.

Hi, my name is Raymundo, I“m from Mexico, I“ve been yoyoing on and off for 4 years ever since I started in university as one of the ways to pass the time between class periods. I“m a physician now, and I tend to carry a yoyo with me whenever I“m at the hospital. I enjoy yo-yoing a lot, I feel that is a great way to exercise you motor skills, and way to express yourself and is something that is always evolving, you never know what thing you and others may create with a yoyo.

Hi, my name is Luca, from center Italy.
I am new in yo-yoing.
Just found some little kids yo-yo in my baby Halloween pack and jumped to a yo-yo trick website… I was impressed from how many nice things we can do with yo-yoes so I bought a Yomega Power Brain XP and enjoying my first very basic tricks like walk the dog or rock the baby
My curiosity is raising questions on different aspects and I am sure to find answers here.
Thank you for the welcome and wishing all of you a fantastic day!!

Welcome! Many of us got sucked into the hobby due to yomega brains, although probably 20 years ago in the boom. Glad to see the noisey clutch is still bringing people into the hobby.
