Nice! I would recommend going to yotricks (can’t say full name it’ll get blurred) and going to the first 50 tricks area and start from their!

How do I go about looking for a particular yoyo I’m trying to buy

Thanks for having me just trying to get my foot in the door with yoyoing I’m new to this and want to learn more and try finding certain yo-yos I like

For beginners, I would recommend the sage, maybe the YoYoFactory one, and if you want a cheap aluminum one, then you can buy like any metal magic yo-yos and they are actually pretty good. The sage you have to buy on yotricks, the YYF one can be bought here, and magic yo-yos I believe here and amazon.

Welcome to the Forums. Despite the name, we are not ALL experts and even the people here who post videos and look like experts are struggling with a lot of things and have been in your exact position. This is the perfect place to ask questions. No question is silly either. We were all beginners and the worst thing to do is not ask questions. I’m glad you joined us!
