Heeey…I used to moderate a board a long time ago, and I used to get annoyed when noobs didn’t intro themselves. Lol.
Used to throw a LONG time ago, before unresponsives were around (I just dated myself, but whatever). My old throw was a Losi Cherry Bomb (Silver Series version), which I still have. My daughter won a cheap yoyo from school so I figured that it would a fun thing to do together. Bought a Skyva and an N11 to learn unresponsive, and found out that it’s a pretty awesome stress reliever in the office.
I’m pretty much a big kid in a tie…will never grow up!
Hey my name is Joseph and my favorit thing todo is yoyoing it used to be video games but last February i got my first unresponsive yoyo that changed me now all i want is to get better and have a fun enjoying time yoyoing
Greetings! My name is Brian, I’m old, and absolutely horrible at yo-yoing. I’m getting better slowly, but currently I only know how to forward pass and gravity pull. There is YouTube, but I’m looking for fellow throwers in the Raleig or Apex, North Carolina area that have the time& patience to get together occasionally and coach me a little.
I’m a former educator that now works in health care.
Hello, my name is Luke.
I’m originally from the United States, but I live in Japan. I’ve only just started throwing, but I’m already hooked. My main yoyo is a YoYoFactory Shutter. I got started by wandering into a shop in Tokyo, run by a group of very friendly guys. This is something I should have started a long time ago, but better late than never.
Hello! I’m Steven. I’m very new to the hobby, but I enjoy it tremendously. Right now all I have is a yyf flight. I’m excited about everything happening in the yo-yo world right now and am excited to be part of it.
Hey guys, My name is Robb and I’m just starting out with unresponsive play. I’ve got one or two tricks down, nothing crazy. Anyway yeah, I throw a one drop Vanguard with kitty string standard. Been thinking about the CLYW Big Dipper or Skyva. Any thoughts?
Hey all, my name is Chris. I threw a lot 25+ years ago. Since there were so few people to learn from around me, I checked out a lot of books and learned that way. There is only so much you can learn from books and a Smothers Brothers video.
It has been great to get back into the yo-yo with some excellent communities and resources.
Hi! I’m Egi and I started throwing again last February 2016. Although I am not making it to the local club meets in our country, online tips/videos are a big help with my progress, a very very slow progress. LOL.
Hey I’m John Schiltz. I’m 16 and I started yoyoing on a whim a year ago. I recently upgraded from a sage yoyo to a YYF genesis. I’m currently trying to learn the whip and it should be easier with a unresponsive yoyo.
Looking at all of your advice has really helped decide what yoyo to buy and I think yoyoing is going to be a lot of fun!!
Hey I’m Josh. I just started throwing less than a month ago. I became interested after finding out about One Drop Yo-yos from Terraria. I love throwing because it’s not electronic and it takes some concentration so it is great to separate from responsibilities for a little bit.
I am a 1a thrower, nearing 3 years in the hobby, and I yoyo everyday 99 percent of the time. I have learned most of the first fifty tricks in 2 sites which comprise most of the 78 tricks I have wrote down, but I have mostly stuck to creating original tricks. I like fingerspins. My favorite throw is the Werrd Minute, closely followed by the Shutter. I’m excited to become a part of this forum, and can’t wait to meet more people in this wonderful community!
Hello everybody, I’m Anthony, and I got back into yoyoing about a year ago, but I was into it as a kid. I decided to make an account for the forums, but I’m fairly active on the FB BST and on the Reddit /r/throwers community. I currently reside in Lexington KY, and I am founder and part of the Lexington Area yoyo club, so if anybody is from the area please feel free to contact me. Here is our page: Redirecting...
Additionally, I’m part of The Traveling Throw street team, and if you’re not familiar with The Traveling Throw, we are an organization devoted to spreading the love of yoyoing. We have some neat projects, and a yoyo for sale called the Rambler. $10 of each Rambler sale goes to Purple Yoyo and the rest goes back into the project.
