While being in hospital, he saw a boy, who was some kind of champ in Moscow, and asked him to pull of some tricks ;D when he returned, he immediately bought yoyo like that boy had ā¦ i found this great site while watching expertvillage yoyo videos on youtube
I have one question ā is YYF GM (Metal) suitable for beginners?
Yes, Put some duncan friction stickers on the GM and it will be responsive, and suitable for beginners
If you feel that it is unsuitable for learning the tricks here, you can look at this buying guide to help buy a new yoyo
I dont know whatās rsmodās talk about ??? Metals are NOT suitible for beginners. If you get a PLASTIC GM then it would be suitible if you know how to bind, if you dont then listen to rsmod and put duncan fristion stickers on it, but be warned, they wear out FAST.
Most metals are not good for beginners, but its not because they are metal. Its all about the gaps and whatnot. A Grind Machine would be okay like rsmod said, but I would go with a YYJ plastic. I promise they perform!

Iāve havenāt really been competing lately. My most recent competition was the 2008 German Masters (7th in 1A, 2nd in 2A, 3rd in 5A). Other than that, Iāve just compteted at the BLC Southwest Regional Yo-Yo Contest in 2004, 2005 and 2007. U.S. Nationals was great also. I competed in all 5 championship divisions but didnāt make it into finals. 
Yo-Yoing is my main hobby. Other than that, I like to hang out with friends, listen to music or just spend time online. My favorite color is green. My favorite band is Silverstein. I like pizza, burgers, Dr. Pepper, energy drinks, pandas, penguins, cloudy days, green highlights, and Gir from Invader Zim. ^^
I look forward to getting to know people on this forum and furthering my yo-yo journey.
