Introduce Yourself!

Aren’t kids great. Have fun!

Hello! My name is Jack and I just started yo-yoing a few weeks ago, and I’m waiting to buy a Dark Magic II because the string on my Duncan butterfly xt snapped, and I was about ready for an upgrade anyway. no point in buying string that will only be used for a week before I want an upgrade. I am quite terrible, but I’m good at rock the baby, walk the dog, the elevator. I can’t do the creeper though, my knees are shot. I’m looking forward to joining the yoyo community and maybe make a few bucks doing it ::slight_smile: ;D :-[

Hello people; I’m Phillip, I’m a fourteen y/o beginner Yo-Yo player. I am fairly new to Yo-Yoing, started during Spring Break. I’ve just recently gotten into unresponsive and will probably get a Horizon or a Replay Pro, any suggestions appreciated. I currently use an old Velocity, it works so no problems for me, and my favorite trick is probably pinwheels. If anyone in SC or near Charleston County is willing, I would like to learn as much as possible from you or anyone you know who could help a intermediate player. I’m glad to join the community

Salutations!

My name is Michael. I’ve been throwing (off-and-on) for close to 20 years, but until haven’t really been active in any communities in the last 15.

I’m currently throwing a CLYW Orca (just upgraded from a Dark Magic [I]) and loving it!

Welcome Michael. Throwing for over 20 years, you must be having fun.

It might be time for me to reintroduce myself. I’m buddy jim. I’m an indie string maker with a rather large ego. Feel free to call me on that whenever it’s appropriate. I have been here for a long time, but I have been inactive for more than a year. I’m an indie string maker, and I have a decent rep. Search “buddy jim strings” and you get a lot of relevant pages about my work. I’m also a yoyoer obviously. Personal favorite throw is the Code 1 at the moment.

Ha! I definitely am.

Don’t let the tenure fool you, though. I’m still pretty bad. ;D

Im just a 17 year old softmore thats into alot of different hobbies. Yoyo is one of them. Dont remember anything specific that made me want to. I started out with a yomega maverick and fireball. I didnt take proper treatment of them because I had no idea and it only lasted like a month. That was in 8th grade. Now sense january of my softmore year ive been playing with those two again, but also a darkmagic2, bumblebee, and firebee which are now all properly cared for. definitely like the darkmagic most. I came across this website looking for websites like this. Originally I went on ■■■■■■■■■■.com alot but always saw this one a few links down. I like slack tricks, grinds, but mainly just trying to put a bunch of stuff together. Currently learning grid iron.

What all do you do mate? I personally have a lot of talents too not a ton but more then most :stuck_out_tongue:
I yoyo, play Djembe and Piano, Dance (Popping)

Hello, 43 year old dad trying to recapture some of his youth. When I was younger, I had a Duncan Butterfly and loved it. I know, it wasn’t much but I really enjoyed it. On a whim I decided to try again and really learn to do it right this time.

Hello Everyone,

I am exited to be here and to share all the tricks I can do! Well to start off, My most favorite trick of all time is "Rock the Baby". It's my favorite because it's easy to learn and everyone loves it. My favorite yoyo is the Civility Yoyo(It's $78.99!) because it's unresponsive and it makes it easier for me to learn tricks.

I did not care to recapture my youth I just forgot how much fun yo-yoing was. I also started with a Butterfly and now I have o collection of them. Now you can bring the same fun to the kids.
BTY WELCOME!

Hello everyone, my name is Richard, im 22 and im new to throwing. I fell for the sport the moment I started! Excited to see where all of this will go.

Welcome Richard.

Hello, my name is Matthew. I started yoyoing when I bought a Yomega Nebula. I could only make it go up and down. After that I got bored of it. After two years, I remembered the yoyo, and due to my lack of common sense, I bought a Glide as a beginner yoyo. Now I’m having fun learning tricks.

Hi, my name is Jonas I’m 27 years old and just got back in to yoyoing  the last time I was throwing you were super good if you did a few loops and more than one around the world :stuck_out_tongue: getting back in now I fell in love with 4a :stuck_out_tongue: I’ve been doing it for a couple day now and Got leg orbits down to where I make them 80% of the time I also got the whip down to the same level  I still use a cheap Chinese yoyo so the spin times are not Good (need yo get a flight)

Hi, my name is Fernando, ive been yoyoing for almost a year. My favourite yoyo is the yoyofactory bi-metal superstar.

Hello I am ProMrYoyo and I am not professional but I still want to learn and compete and become world champion. My journey started on yotricks and now I’m here. I hope I learn all the different styles and master them all. My big journey starts here.

Hello everyone! Windschnapper here. This is my return to the world of yoyoing. The last good yoyo I bought was Profire GT, when I was in elementary school. Now when I saw the latest tech and style in modern yoyo, I was a bit shocked because how advanced it has been while I’m not there! Now I own a Capital Serum made by Mr. Kristiawan, but the Profire GT is still my everyday casual throw(honestly I’m afraid to ding or lost the serum so I didn’t bring it with me everyday).

Welcome back to the throw.
