Welcome one and all! Good to have you here.
Check your inbox good sir, I have sent you a PM with some useful information.
Hello everyone!
My name is Alex and I am pretty new to the scene! For the last few years Iāve thought to myself, I need a hobby that isnāt just video games, and I made a list of things to try. When I got to yoyoing, it stuck! Itās been about 4 months now and I feel like Iām catching on quick! I love how all yoyoās look and I wish I could own them all! But thatās quite the pricey goal so itāll be slow collecting for me, once out of college and I have some money that is. I hope to continue throwing for some time to come!
Thatās all! Message me if you want to

Hey YYE forum members! My name is Jason and I am an almost 31 year old from Michigan. My favorite yoyo is my Summit but I also have a G-Funk and a decent 4a yoyo that I am just learning on. I have really been playing for 2 or so months and I really enjoy it. I lucked out and managed to find another yoyoer at my new job so he has already helped elevate my game quite a bit! I am glad to be a part of the community and hopefully I can learn and contribute in time.
That is really awesome to hear!! Welcome to the forums, hope to see you around!

Hello! My name is Carly, and I am 21 years old. I started yo-yoing almost two months ago. At first, I tried 1A, but couldnāt really get into it completely. Then I attended the Bay Area Classic yo-yo contest that was held this year, and I bought a Fiesta XX offstring yo-yo. Once I got home and started practicing 4A, I was hooked. I found this style to be more fun and exciting for my personal liking.
My fiancĆ©, ThinkH2o, has been yo-yoing for about four months now. He is the reason I first decided to try yo-yoing at all. I always said that I wish I had some sort of hobby that would keep me preoccupied but I could never find anything to keep my interest for very long. Thankfully him getting me into yo-yoing changed that. Whereas I didnāt get into 1A like he did, I found my calling in 4A. Then we got to meet Gentry Stein and Zac Rubino on National Yo-Yo Day last month just two weeks after I started offstring. Meeting both of them furthered my inspiration to keep at it and continue with this new passion.
My fiancƩ (ThinkH2o), a friend we met at BAC (AngryGumball), and I recently decided to come up with a yo-yo company of sorts. We want to begin making t-shirts, yo-yo holders, etc, and make ourselves into a yo-yo apparel company. The three of us created a team, and are looking for other yo-yoers who would like to join. We are not a team that sponsors others; we are just a group that shares the art of yo-yoing. Each of us makes our own videos showing off our skills as we progress further into more advance tricks. Then we put all of our clips into one team video to showcase our individual skills, but compiled as a team. We just got started with our videos, but you can look forward to more coming in the near future. We hope to have our t-shirts and yo-yo holders available to purchase within the coming months.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction of myself and the team. Currently the team consists of Colby(ThinkH2o), Billy(AngryGumball), and myself. I will post our first video we have made as a team in the video section of the forums for you all to see. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy what we have to offer!
Hola!
Mostlyjoe here I got back into yoyoing from Terraria and /r/throwers getting me intersted in picking up a yoyoing as a hobby again. Back in high school I use to mostly do responsive tricks but itās been quite a few years. Iām a big gamer nerd and by gamer I mean pen and paper, dungeons and dragons stuff.
I hail from Florida and have a lovely little family. Iām interested in 1A and 5A tricks, but first I have to get use to an unresponsive throwā¦again. XD
I have no prefered brand as yet, but I do love the Benchmark series from One Drop (even if a bit pricy), and C3 and YYF brands look great to me. Iām open to suggestions and ways to improve my throwing. Iām less worried about winning anything except maybe my daughterās awe when she sees daddy doing sick tricks.
Welcome back to yo-yoing. Soon your kids will be playing. And isnāt I great being from FL?
There are benefits. No snow is one. But I could do without the āwelcome to the saunaā summers. Otherwise itās great. Iām curious what the FL yo-yo scene is like through.
