That is amazing!
Yo-yoing is my current new hobby/interest. I started out this month looking around for info, tricks, and interesting looking stuff. Finally settled on a black One Drop Benchmark H. I sold that last week right after I got my orange Rally to a guy I work with that wanted to get in to throwing also. I liked it a lot but he absolutely loved it.
After I sold it I missed the feel of a full metal yo-yo so now I have a Cascade Paul Dang edition being sent to me. Very excited for that to come in.
I just started out with 1a tricks, got the trapeze, the repeating hawk and a few other tricks that I donāt even know the name of but are fun to do. Just having fun learning new tricks.
Thought Iād do it up proper and introduce myself.

my name is marty. iām alright at yoyo. my main throw is currently the clyw chief, puffin 2, and onedrop benchmark o with code1 side effects. i dont really watch tutorials, i make up my own tricks. yoyoing is probably my favorite hobby, but it screwed up my finger. there is a ring on my finger and it wonāt go away, probably cuz i throw for at least 3 hours a day XD
Welcome to the forums.
Yea I have the same indentation on my finger too.
If I ever find myself in Iowa, expect to find me on your door step! Absolutely amazing
My name is Travis. Iām 26 and Iāve been learning the yoyo for about four weeks now. I had the yomega brain for about a week that my fiancĆ© bought me until I broke it then on a search to replace it i stumbled upon this site and purchased a yyj classic and is what I am currently using. Still beginner/intermediate but learning very quickly.
the classic is a great choice! welcome and good luck!
Donāt worry, Iām 3 years in and still using the classic
Hello everyone my name is Chad.I just got into Yoyoing Iām 35 married with 3 girls. my middle 10 year old got a Ned Yoyo from school and it reminded me of the fun when I was that age. Things have come along way in 25 years I couldnāt make up my mind on the type of throws I wanted so my first order was today. So I purchased a couple. Iām very new at any tricks but I figured Iāll start somewhere. Hereās the list.
czm8,Jaeger,dm2,too hot, level6,shutter
Like I said I couldnāt decide so I figure these will keep me busy for a little while. Thanks and look forward to learning allot on this site.
Welcome to the forumās
Those throws will definatly keep you happy for a long time.
Nice to meet you all. Iām 15, and I got into yo-yoing a few weeks ago.
I got my first yo-yo, the Duncan Butterfly, when I was little. Never learned how to throw it, and left it in my toy drawer.
Fast forward to 2013 - my older brother found it and learned to throw it properly. Understandably, he found it to be subpar for the tricks he wanted to do (he did an around the world and the string broke, flinging the yo-yo across the room) and got a YYF One. Eventually, he got me into it.
After we learned some tricks on the One, we decided to buy our own unresponsive metal yo-yos.
I ended up getting the Shutter and my brother got the Level 6.

Hi my name is Taylor and I love yoyoing and collecting nice throws! I look forward to meeting more cool people and doing business with a lot of you!
Welcome!
Welcome, everybody!
Chad, my sonās school has a Ned show coming up. The yoyo community has such a divided opinion on those shows, but itās hard to deny that theyāre making kids aware of yoyo. More than one member on this forum is here because of the Ned show.
I want to take a morning off and go check it out with him!
