Introduce Yourself!

It was terribly bad grammar.

Which is my bane. thank you. so, we’re allowed to report horrible grammar?

More than that, it was basically unreadable.

Hello yoyoers. I started yoyoing 3 days ago and have just reached the advanced tricks. I was playing with a friends yoyo but bought the Dark Magic ll yesterday and I love it. Umm… thats all I guess.

Hey everybody! I started yoyoing about 2-3 months ago and I have just been sucked into it. I love yoyoing because it is calm and the only person you are going against is yourself (except for if you’re in a competition). There is always a new trick to learn and I am passionate about learning more. I actually started yoyoing because my friend was doing it and told me to try it out. Now I can’t stop! I’m pretty suckish at it but I did all my research and am getting better!

Hello there, my name is Greg. I used to be into yoyoing in my younger days and have recently attempted to take it back up again. I just bought a Yomega Lightbeam for my firsst yoyo in years lol, not exactly sure to how good it is but lets hope it’s okay. my all time favourite yoyo would be the Duncans Cold Fusion and i’d love to be able to do the ladder escape trick, too bad i’m just a beginner :-[

Too bad? I think not. It’s great to be a beginner, new friends, new ideas, everything is fresh, and the learning curve is just straight up! ;D You have started your journey! You’re going to have so much fun!

I believe JonasK is Norwegian.

My name is Dustin, I am 20 years old and have been yoyoing for the past 5. I currently attend the University of Northern Arizona located in Flagstaff, AZ. I spend the school year there and the summers in Tucson, AZ. I’m Always looking for a way to become involved in the community that doesn’t involve me driving for hours so if you live in my town shoot me a message!

Ahoy hoy,

I figured since I started throwing again, I might as well get involved in the community. I first started seriously throwing in the mid 1990s revival and did a lot of early 1A play. I “grew up” and put the yo-yos away for a few years. A few months ago a friend reminded me of the good old days, so I rummaged through storage at my mothers house and found my old Yomega Fireball. It was just like riding a bike, as the saying goes. In the real world I am a transit bus driver, outdoorsman, and all around trouble maker.

Real name: Jon Reams
Age: 27
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Current throws:
Yomega Fireball Glow
YYF DV888
YYJ Dark Magic 2
Adegle Asteroid
CLYW Arctic Circle
and a few no label wood yo-yos

My name is Shane. I used to have a few yomegas back in the day. Remember using the brain kind with the clutch to automatically return. Recently, a few years back I was in Wal-Mart and walking through the toy-aisle I saw a yoyo, a Duncan Mosquito. I was reminded of the days of my youth and decided to buy it. This was the start of my serious relationship with the hobby of yoyoing. For awhile the Mosquito was fine for me, even ended up getting a different color one when I found out you could make multi-colored ones by switching out the halves. After awhile though I was interested in getting something a little better. I found yoyoexpert and yoyonation and started researching the yoyos that were available. After awhile I settled on a yoyojam legacy as it seemed to be a cheap and decent yoyo to start out with. I lost my original legacy, bought another one and also got a lyn fury and a speedmaker. I practiced like crazy and really enjoyed learning new tricks and got much better. I would sit out in front of the university and throw and people would always stop and say how cool it was. It was nice to have other people appreciate it. Just the other day I got an itch to get a new yoyo, so I got a Dark Magic II and love it so far. I have also gotten back into making my own string, something I learned how to do about a year ago. Would love to find some other people in their 20’s who throw in my area or anywhere to be honest as I have yet to meet another person.

Hey guys, I’m Wusheng from China, crew of MAGICYOYO. Very glad to be here to contact and discuss about yoyos from all around the world.
