Hey guys, I’m 17 and just started yo-yoing a few days ago. I’ve been able to make a lot of progress however. I found out about Yoyoexpert through google.
Hello all…My name is Joe. I’ve been throwing for about 2 months now. I was browsing youtube and came across a video called “YoYo God” I watched Hiroyuki Suzuki perform, and was blown away. As I watched him, I thought to myself…I can do that. I got me simple yoyo and started learning.(thanks to Andre Boulay’s tutorials) I moved up to a grind machine and just got my Dark Magic a week ago----Talk about the difference between night and day. I spend most of my free time practicing and you will find my kids and I in front of the house practicing on a regular basis. It’s great to see them learning with me, and trips to the park never go unrewarded with all the kids wanting to see what I have learned every day. I am so glad I found this site and am looking very forward to pursuing my new hobby to the fullest.
Hello.
I’ve been yo-yoing for about 5 years now. I’ve been an avid member of the YYN forums. Excited to be a checkin out the B/S/T!
Hello, my name is Chuck. As with many others, I saw a video of a yoyo performance and thought playing with a yoyo would be a fun hobby to get into. I found this website through google and have done a lot of research on good yoyo’s to start out with.
I ended up putting in an order at yoyoexpert for a dark magic 2, a 25 pack of poly string, thick lube, and thin lube. I think this should keep me occupied for awhile!
I’ve only had the yoyo for a couple days, and my sleeper is still terrible, but it sure is fun!
This forum is full of knowledge, thanks everyone for making it so awesome!
I’m a little late but awesome to see you’re here!

Well Well everyone hello I’m Lendard or nickname Post for the easy to remember folks! Use to Yo-Yo quite a bit years ago when Yomega introduced the X-Brain. Pushing 29 and my co-worker is the one that got me back into the groove. He carries a Dark Magic II to work ha and I see this tall guy like myself Yo-Yoing it was just too funny that I always thought I was the only one up there that even thought about Yo-Yo’s. He informed me of all the technology changes and the unresponsive Yo-Yo which I just ordered up the nice Rec Rev Oscillatrix. Naturally it’s a big change from the yeah the Yo-Yo will come back to you by itself but I’m all about challenges so let’s bring it. Now that my Yo-Yo has arrived time to get back at another great hobby and get my Grind on. 8)

Yo, I’m Tucker, I’ve been yoing for 3 yrs. my first yoyo was a Duncan Pro-Fly. So I guess I’ve escalated from that to a Duncan Raptor I’m currently on Expert Tricks now.
Well hello. My name is Lars, 20 years old (soon to be 21), Norwegian.
I’ve been yoyoing back and fourth since is was a little kid, though never played “seriously” until two years ago, when i got a Henrys Viper. I played with that for a month, put it away and never really did anything before two months ago. Got myself a Protostar and a Juggernaut.
As of skill i’m halfway through the advanced part 2 of the trick ladder here on YYE.
As for work/education im studying to be a mechanical engineer.
Hey everyone, I’m Jake. I’ve been yoyoing for 5 years or so I’m not really sure. I started after seeing Doc Pop do some crazy stuff on the TV and immediately wanted to do get a yoyo and try myself. I’m entering my last year of undergrad and I’m a double major in Anthropology and Philosophy. In my collection I have a G5, an Any Free Rider, a Markmont Next, a Hayabusa, a Grind Machine, a Whip, and a Gear. I also have a Bapezilla 2 on the way which I’m really excited about. Maybe I’ll post a review when I get it.
Hello friends!
I’m Shane, just started throwing a little while ago, been getting into it and thought if I had some questions I might as well join this forum, so I did.
Hi fellow throwers!
I recently got bit by the yoyo bug…AGAIN! I’m 54 years old, but in the very early 1970’s, it was common for me and my eighth grade comrades to whip out a yoyo during our free time at school. My throw back then was a blue Duncan Imperial (talk about old school…I think they were still carved from wood a couple years before that ;D).
I had found an old Imperial at a local thrift shop about 10 years ago, same color as my old long-lost one from Junior High, but didn’t have a string for it. It sat around unused and lonely for that long. Then, I got the idea to check out yoyo’s again, and found myself ordering a green NorthStar and three strings. I love that color, btw.
I strung up the Imperial, and it worked good. But the NorthStar…well, my my, things have certainly changed in the yoyo world! I found it next to impossible to get that sucker back up after it slept like, forever! :o
So, I’m working on binding now. It did get it to sleep for 3 minutes today, and that’s my record after a few days of returning to the wacky world of yoyo’s. I have so much to learn, but I really enjoy playing with a quality yoyo.
So, that’s it for now. Thanks for letting me join the forum!
Kerry
Welcome back. Before too long, you will be able to teach us a thing or two!
Hi, my name is Anthony, I’m fourteen years old and i’ve been yo-yoing for about eight months. I started to get into yo-yos when I saw Hiroyuki Suzuki win Worlds in 2005, but I was eleven. Anyway, I didn’t know that you can do that to a yo-yo so my first yo-yo was the Yomega Fireball. I didn’t take yo-yo seriously when I was eleven, When I was twelve, I got the Yomega Sabar Raider, but then I lost one of the spacers and now I can’t play with it anymore. I was thirteen, I got the YoYoJam Dark Magic II, since then, I took yo-yo really seriously and well I’m pretty good at it. My favorite player of all time must be Hiroyuki Suzuki because he’s the best yo-yoer, to me, and he inspire me to get into yo-yoing. My favorite brands are YoYoJam, YoYoFactory, and somETHING by YoYoAddict, but my most favorite brand is YoYoJam. I always wanted to be in there team and still I wish I could. Anyway, that’s myself and I LOVE YO-YOS!

Yo I’m Brandon from southern new jersey. I actually started to yoyo at 11 years old, some kids in school started to throw so I end up getting in to it. I belive my first yoyo was a yomega brain. I got better and better I moved on to yomega saber wing. and finally ended up with a yomega v wing. i belive it was the beging of metal bearings axels. I quit throwing about 15, I got involed in alot of sports and girls and partying. I went down a deep dark path for a very long time. I gave birth to my first child a little girl and Named her lily. she helped me straighten up my life for the most part, but I was missing something, something to void the gaps i had in my life. My younger brother started to yoyo about 6 months ago. so i started to pick them up and throw and to my amazment I still remember everything I learned from air cuircut yomega cards. i visted ocean city and the store air cuircut is the only one around my area that would sell yoyos. I baught an yyf whip, and couple days later a dv888. I loved it, and i think i was pretty good. things have changed. tricks have become way more advanced and much more difficult. I’m learning more and more every day. I will not stop until i make it to a competition. At this point I throw a yyj dm2, speeder 2, trinity, yyf whip, dv888, cataliyst.
