You got that right
Thanks Andre! ;D
hello all,
My name is Dennis and I am from Frisco TX. I suck at yoyoing but trying to get better. I currently have (4) YYF whips, (1) YYF grind machine, (1) Yomega Dash, (5) Duncan Butterflys, (5) Duncan Imperials, and a bunch of other ones that I have from over 20+ years.
Tricks? Hell I have no tricks, just picked up my first unresponsive yoyos a few days ago and am trying to get my bind return down.
Hi! Iām Johnny! Been throwing bout 4months n lovin it J.Spinn is meh reason y i started n how i know so much
Yo. I new to this forum but iāve been yoyoing for a while and really enjoy it. Sadly the friction tape on my only yoyo broke and I am unable to find a replacement. This has caused me to become really out of practice. I hope I will be able to find a way to fix it.
Sup. Back in like 5th grade I started throwing, mainly trying to do string tricks on a Power Brain. That was when the Fast 201 came out, and that was the sheezy at my school for pretty much the whole year. In retrospect I think I was the only person who actually took it as something to put effort into and not just a fad; I was the only dude who was actually learning new tricks consistently, and everyone thought I was big ballinā for learning Double Or Nothing. Then after I stepped on and broke my Yomega Crossfire in 6th grade I kind of stopped until about 2 months ago, when my friend was playing around with a Genesis he got from his friend. The moment the string was on my finger I relapsed, and have been hooked ever since. I later found out that the person who had given my friend the Genesis was none other than Paul Han, and that I had actually skateboarded with him a few times at my local skatepark. Previously I had no idea who he was, and when I googled his name and watched some of his videos I was like āI know that guy!ā I was shocked to find that I had actually met, had conversations with, and even high-fived a National Champion, often considered one of the best players in the game!
So yeah, thatās pretty much the summary of what you could call my history with yoyos so far. I live in the SF peninsula, so if anyone wants to throw/skate in that general vicinity Iām totally down; hit me up brosky
Hello everyone, I donāt know how many people actually read these, but here it goes
I am 15 looking to become a really good yoyoer,
I have been doing it for about two weeks and moved on to the advanced section by now
Currently I am using a Yomega Dash but will be receiving a DV888 on Christmas. Cant wait
hi,my name is Leon.Iām from Germany and got the 9th at the German National yoyo contest.Iām playing since March2010 and Iām playing 1a and 2a.
Hi, Iāve been playing with yo-yos for about 14 years because never had anyone else to play b-ball or soccer with on my street so picked this up as a hobby. Started with an old wooden lightning yoyo and have since boughten and used the fast 201 and peter fish luminator. Iām planning on getting either a dv888 or a dm2 for christmas.
I see that I signed up long ago, but have only poked in here every now and then. I was told about a post here about my string. After a little reading the threads, I felt I might be spending some more time on the forum, so hereās an introduction.
I yoyoād as a kid on a Duncan Butterfly, and didnāt give it much thought until about 4 or 5 years ago when I heard about yoyos with bearings. I had to try one out and got a YYJ DM. After that I was hooked. I live fairly close to San Francisco so I worked on the Trick Ladder and went to BAC to meet people and have some fun. I have been back a couple of times and it has always been fun to see the talent and hang out with the community.
I throw to relax and keep up my tricks, although those are pretty limited due to family life, work, and my newer project, YoYoStringLab.
I have always wanted to make a contribution in one way or another to the community, and early in 2011 I decided to finally focus on the YYSL project. I had some nice results with string I had developed in the past, but needed to work out how to do it so more people could enjoy it, and I wanted to fine tune the formats even more. Anyway, it all worked out, people have been great with their support, and I am really enjoying doing this. The process of figuring things out, finding creative solutions, plus the designing and building envolved with this project really fits my personality.
Ok, now what elseā¦I like soccer, eating sushi, and cooking up something special for the family. In yoyoing, I enjoy seeing flow and visual creativity over cats cradle tricks.
Yeah, thatās good for a start anyway.
Hi. My name is Mike (as my username says)
Iām a middle school teacher in California. Some of my students rekindled my interest in yoyoing this school year and Iāve gotten hooked in a major way. When I was a kid, fixed yoyos was all there was, but I was a pretty good looper back then. When I started investigating yoyos back in October, I couldnāt believe how much had changed - ball bearings, yoyos you could take apart and modify, and string tricks. I was really impressed by the string tricks. Now here I am, an old man playing a kids game. Iām up to 5 tricks and can bind in my sleep. Now if I can figure out how to get my cane involved
Welcome Mike. Like you I am an older man with a great hobby. Itās a toy for all ages and not just the kiddies. lol Iām 39 so I know exactly how you feel. Welcome to the forums and I hope you will stay a while.

Hello, my name is Chris and im 16. Iāve been yoyoing since late 2009, but have stopped and started again a few times. I plan on staying with it now that I moved from Canada to Chicago, where yoyoing is popular. Hope to meet many of you!
Hi my names Quinn, im 14 years old. ( yes im a guy. some people think Quinn is a girl name, makes me angry.) i used to love to yoyo when i was like 9, but i never understood a lot of the tricks. so i stopped. a kid in my school brought in a yoyo one day about a week ago and it reminded me of how much i used to love it. so i decided to get back into it⦠to me it just looks really fun and you could amaze some people when good enough. i have a little knowledge on it but ive been watching the tutorial videos ( best tutorials ive seen.) hopefully ill get better and better. i found the website when i youtubeād tutorial vids and saw the cite in the description.
Hey, howās it goin everyone? Iāve been out of yoyoāing for about 5-6 years now, the last time I did it the Anti-Yo Eetsitās were just being released, and after that my yoyoās went into storage. Iām 27 now, and was recently going through my storage, when I found my box filled with all of my old yoyoās, including 2 mint condition Eetsitās and one not even opened from itās original box. I started playing with my old hitman that I had, and remembered how much fun I had yoyoāing and wanted to see if I had any of my chops still, maybe like riding a bicycle. I had someā¦but not a lot of my old skills back. I can still do the mach 5, cold fusion, and a few others along those skill levels, but when I left the yo-world, the craziest tricks I saw, were the superman, kamikaze, and spirit bomb.
Holy cow! Now they have a trick called the āFunky Giraffeā, and it is one of the craziest tricks Iāve ever seen. I still gotta catch up with all of the newer yoyoās, and Iāve been searching youtube, and forums to see what the latest and greatest is now. All I can say so far is that, I want a dv888, protostar, and maybe a popstar to bring on the go. Anyways, enough about me coming out of my yo-coma and seeing the new world of yo. I look forward to talking with you guys/gals on the forums, and itās good to be back.
Hey everyone. Didnāt see this thread before.
Anyway, my name is Carl. And Iām just getting back into yoyoing after about a 5 year break.
Anything you want to know, just ask.
