wow cool, welcome ;D

Man yye is so active these days, I love seeing this community grow.

Whats up everyone. I want to get into yoyos and I just ordered a Raider because I heard it was a good beginner yoyo. Any advice or tips on anything would be great. BTW I live in the Bay Area.

welcome ;D its cool that you’re getting into throwing  send me a pm (personal message) of what tricks you know and i’ll help you

Kinda hopped onto the forums without a formal introduction, so here it is

Names Corey, im 21 years old and from massachusetts. As far as yoyo’s, i dont have much of a history. I mean i remember in boyscouts when i was about 10 we all played with them. Everyone had the yomega fireball, but all we knew how to do was rock the baby, and walk the dog. It wasnt until last week were i saw 1A videos did i decide “I WANT TO DO THAT”. So i hopped on these forums, got recommendations and picked up a DM2 and YYF One.

I can see this hobby being a long lasting one. Whether it be collecting the yoyo’s or learning new tricks, its already sucked me in like a category 5 hurricane.

Looking forward to learning more, and getting more involved with the community!

Welcome glad to have you.

And I am also glad to see you still posting, I can’t tell you how many people make their one and only post here. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well hope you enjoy the forums.

Keep throwing. C=

Hey all, my name is David. I’m currently throwing around a YYF Supernova. I’m very new to the game, but I keep getting better every day.

I don’t know too much about yo-yo’s, but I come on here all the time and read all your posts as if I do… :P. Not too good at introductions, but hopefully I will gain enough knowlege post some gold myself.

Thanks

Sups people. I’m Chinshanky. I lurk mostly, and mainly post for B/S/T. Been around this scene for over 6 years, but I’m new to this forum. I can do tricks and mods and stuff. Nice to meet everyone!

Hi chin, good to see you over here.

Hi there! My name is CaptainAwesomeness from Singapore and I’m new here. I am quite young for yo-yoing, at the age of 11 and am now currently working my way through the advanced string tricks though I can do things like Gyroscopic Flop (that’s my favourite trick). I am now currently using a Counter Attack by YYF and it feels like the best yoyo in the world. You should get one someday, to those who are interested.

I first found out about YoYoExpert on youtube. I was looking for the Atomic Bomb yoyo trick when the first thing that popped up was a person in front of a dark blue cloth and I thought: The video is abount 2 minutes long. There sure to be a lot of information! So I clicked on it and sure enough, it produced lots of information and so now Atomic Bomb is one of the best tricks I can perform.

I hope that I will feel welcomed here! Bye to all!

Hey all!

My name is Chris Severson and I got interested in yoyo-ing back in the day of elementary school. I got out of it, and now starting college, I got back into it. I bought a Yomega Dash, nice little metal throw, and low and behold i meet a guy on campus that is hard core into yoyo-ing and he has been helping me with getting “back into shape”.

Hope to learn a lot here!

Cheers,

~Chris Severson
