Hi all I’m not gonna tell you my name but i have been yoyoing for a very short period. I would like to call myself an intermediate yoyoer but I know I’m not.
I am “yoyo-dude” as the kids from the skate park call me haha i spend most of my time trying to figure out pictures with little success. i currently sport the g5 and a popstar (<-awesome) and my favorite trick is called the MiNd BoGgLeR!!! i can do almost every trick that is on this site but beyond that is an infinite amount of madness…

My name is Chris - I’m 23 years old and am currently a college student finishing up my masters in network security and administration. I’ve been a ‘cardist’ 2 years and am feeling a bit burnt out so I decided to try out yoyo’s (as of three days ago).
I work full time at a hotel and am also a full-time professional magician. Beyond that I do freelance graphics and website development, dabble in photography, and do video game tournaments throughout the US each year.
I’m a really passionate and dedicated person. I plan to be really active here since I really like to contribute and lend a helping hand to others. As of right now I can’t be of much help to many of you but as I progress, I hope that I’ll have more to contribute to each of you.
Hey everyone my name is duskeye0221 and i have been yo-yoing for about 5 months, but have been progressing rather fast! I have had experience with yo-yos before but have not been really into unresponsive play until now. The yo-yos i have are a g-funk, an 888.11, a g5 2010, and an MVP purple w/silver splash. I am planning on trading my DV888 and my SFX for another yo-yo soon. No-one near me yo-yos but i am trying to get my friends into it. I am looking forward to being a member of yoyoexpert and hope to be a better thrower every day!
hi fellow yoyoers
i am a very master yoyoer and my apprentice is yoyo avenger
i taught him everything
Can’t wait to get to know more yoyo nerds like me
Hey peoples! I’m Malyatrax, also known as ‘Billy’ in the offline world.
I’m English (lived in South Yorkshire until I was 11) but I live in France, Brittany to be precise ;D
I’ve been yoyoing for … Well, it’s hard to say, because I yoyo’d for about a year and a half with a FAST 201 and then a Maverick, which I now despise. Then I stopped for about a year, maybe more. And now I throw yoyos again, namely my Crucial Confection (which I ADORE!), Dark Magic (Original, black. My ever faithful companion), and a green plastic Grind Machine (Various hubstacks + 5A string/counterweight).
Not much for me to say about myself… Only that I’m a long-haired, vegetarian, freerunning metalhead with a love for Digital art and Minecraft. ;D
Ah! Speaking of art, I’m hopefully getting an airbrush + air compressor, mainly for painting everything from wooden speaker cases to whatever I can get my hands on, but then I thought: Why not paint yoyos. I’m working on some colour ideas + stencils for a Maverick (yes, THAT Maverick) which I should get painted sometime after christmas. I’ll post it here with pics when I do ;D
Oh… And I want to make string. Already got some ideas, namely ‘Shades of grey’… Also: Pics when done!
Hoping to enjoy my time here (Why am I hoping, I know I will!)
Malyatrax.
Hey guys! My name is Richard. I starting yo-yoing when I was 8 and did it seriously for a few years back in San Diego, CA. I’m now in college and after 10+ years I’ve decided to try it out again! Its great seeing all these new tricks and seriously updated yo-yos. I used to throw the old bumblebees, omega hyperwarp and firestorm(almost forgot about that one), and duncan butterfly. I don’t know how well I’ll fair with these new unresponsive yo-yos but I’ll be fine. I’m excited to get back into and learn all these new tricks and techniques! Hope to interact with you all!
I have a similar story. Just be sure to stick it out and don’t give up. Try throwing a responsive yo-yo to help remind yourself why you love it. After that, move on to unresponsive play. Honestly, I found binding to be alot more complicated than I thought it would be. I spent two days just trying to get binds down. Once I could almost every throw, I started integrating tricks back in the mix and this helped me to stay focused and encouraged. I have been back at it for about 6 months now, and I love it! I play on a solid Advanced level, and I am starting to break into Master level tricks. Stick with it, and don’t give up. Most importantly, have fun! Yo-yoing is a good break from the books – I promise!
Hi everybody, my name is David and I have just recently started to get serious about my yoyoing. I hope to learn more about yoyoing from being on these forums. I’m currently almost mastering the atomic bomb.
