im really just trying to recycle alot of my existing collection of yoyos for new ones. ive had pretty much the same gear for 4+ years now and its time to redecorate my case i guess.
if anyone is interested just send me a pm. all i really have are buzzonās and duncanās for sale but ill probably make a post about it soon.
Hi my name is Nathan. Iām 11 years old, I started yoyoing about two months ago. The NED show came to my school and I decided to get my yoyo back out that I got for my birthday this year. I found andreās videos and I got addicted. I bought a dark magic 2 and here I am now.
Hey, my name is Coltin Kifer. Iām 13 years old, and I live in Latrobe PA. Iāve been yo-yoing for about 1 1/2 years on and off learning off Andre Boulayās tutorials. So far Iāve had three yo-yoās the Duncan Butterfly, the Duncan Mosquito (which I got good at, but then broke), the Yomega Saber Raider (which I lost a separator for), and now the YYF Velocity which suits me well because I couldnāt bind before I got it. I found YoYoExpert from the 2011 Worlds contest live feed chat.
I first got into yoyo-ing when I was 14 and bought a coca cola one in the late 80ās. I havenāt played with a yoyo properley until my kids bought me a YOYO FACTORY FAST for fathers day. I havenāt been able to put it down since.
I have learnāt quite a few tricks thanks to the excellent training vids on this site, but Iām still having particular problems with a bind return.
I would love to spend some time getting professional coaching, but I pressume it would be hard to find this in the UK.
My name is Will. I am 36 years old and was turned on to Yo-Yo play by a friend. I havenāt Yoāed in about 10 years lol and am wanting to get back into it. I figured I would come to a great place with people that knew their stuff and can help guide me to better skillz.
The best Yo-Yo I have had so far was the bumble bee. I can do quite a few string tricks, but as you know that is not itās main purpose and I am looking for a good string trick Yo-Yo.
Hello Everyone,
Well my name is Miguel. and ive been yo-yoing for about 3 months now lol i started with the dark magic 2 and now im using the pyro 3. i love to yoyo even though i kinda suck. lol but im getting better every day so im happy about that.
I donāt see why you mind itās not like Iām bumping the thread or anything (Itās sticky). I do it because I want people to feel welcome and know that someone reads what they wrote, but if it really bothers you I will make my posts less frequent here. (But I feel someone should greet these people.)
i know that greeting people is awesome but just dont do it to everyone. it does not bother me that much but i think it bothers other people. just dont do it to everyone. thanks!
If thatās how they feel then I will shut up, all I know is I wish someone would of acknowledged my introduction just trying to treat others as I would of wanted to be sorry for the annoyance everyoneā¦
Your not dude donāt feel bad if thatās the truth donāt feel bad. Never hesitate to show me if Iām doing something wrong Iām a fairly level headed guy (At least Iād like to think soā¦). Anything more to add please just PM me. C=
Right what I think that Silverman is trying to say is that you donāt want to be too overly friendly and give an odd feeling. But itās good that your trying to be friendly and a good witness for God!
trace not to be mean or anything, but you dont have say welcome to the forums to everyone. just say it once and a while.

It doesnāt bother me! Keep making them feel welcome! I apologize for not doing it, but I like to keep the conversations in the threads stimulated.
About a year ago, my daughter somehow came across an old wooden yoyo. For a good while she struggled with it, just trying to get it to go up and down on the string. On a regular basis she would complain to me that she needs a new yoyo. For a while I humored her until eventually she pestered me enough that we sat down and started looking on the internet. That was May this year. All I knew about was Duncan - I had no idea yoyoing is what it is these days. So we headed to the Duncan website. Like I said, not knowing a thing about yoyos I was a little overwhelmed seeing all the different types available. She ended up with the Wheels and I got a Mosquito. Then it all changed. I started reading and learning what I could about yoyos, the different types, strings, tricks, bearings, you know the routine. About a month into it, she knotted up her string and kind of lost interest. She wanted to do the stuff I was learning with mine. Granted, it was just a Mosquito, but when youāre desperate, you can make almost anything work.
So finally, last week, I picked up a Lyn Fury and some new string, turned the Mosquito over to my daughter and there is happiness in the universe once again.
I guess the short of the story is that I have lots of things I do with my son and I wanted something that just me and my daughter could do together. Yoyoing is it. I love it and weāre having a blast learning together. Neither of us is very good yet but that doesnāt keep us from trying.
Iām really impressed with this site and love all the video tutorials. Iāve been watching them over and over. Andre does a great job at explaining and keeping things simple. Some day Iād like to meet him, maybe get some tips from him. Anyway, its nice to be here and hopefully sometime Iāll get to meet some of you! 8)
