Introduce Yourself!

Hi, My name is Ethan. I guess I’m pretty decent at yoyoing but, I’m still learning a lot and I havent been to any contests. My favorite yoyo is the YoYoFactory Northstar. My favorite tricks, well probably cold fusion or green triangle and I’m learning pon n’ fresh, grind through triangle and kamikaze.

HI! My name is Josh and i am from Iowa. I started yoyoing about a year ago and i still love it just as much(maybe more!) I have a dv888, x-convict, grind machine, star bright and about ten more. My favorite yoyoer of all time is hroyuki suzuki. My favorite trick is gyrooscopic flop mostly because I’ve seen hiroyuki suzuki do it so well. I am gald to finally be a part of the yoyo expert forum thingy!

hello other yoyo enthusiasts. i am 15 years old and have been yoyoing for about 3 months. i consider myself pretty OK at yoyo. i recently got a Yomega Dash and it works pretty well. the only problem is it shreds string. i am saving up my money for a DM2 or an Aoda Eternal Star. if you could give me any feedback that would be awesome!

Hi im Simon. I am fairly new to yoyoing (half a year) and have 2 yoyos - the DMII and the Kickside. Andre Boulay is my favorite pro. Im young so i dont got a lot of money to spend on yoyos, but i want to get the DV888, Northstar, and maybe get into looping or offstring.

Hi, I’m Felix. I have yo-yoed on and off, so I’m not very strong at it. I’ve used yoyoexpert a lot, and I don’t really have a favorite trick or yo-yo. I just see which things are great for me personally. So yea, hahaha. LET’S GO!

hio everyone! um…well i started maybe a year and a half ago and i am sort of half intermedite and half advanced, but i live in new york (!!!) and i got really obsessed after i spent a weekend at my grandpas, were i found a crappy yoyo tht only sleeps for 5 seconds but i learned the basics(walk the dog, sleeper, gravity pull) and when i got home i went and got a yomega fireball (winged) and i learned more, then got a yomega dash, and that bumbed me up alot. i found this site while i was looking online to buy some more yoyos (YYF grind machine) and signed up, and here i am.

I am Ryan. I am From Portland, Oregon. I am 15 years old. I currently own a Dark Magic 2 but looking for a Caribou Lodge that is under 70 bucks used. ( I dont have a source of income so i can’t afford 115 dollar yoyos.) I am sort of bad right now. I can do all intermediate tricks and some advanced like Matrix cold fusion zipper and mcbride roller coaster etc… I am tryingg to learn white buddha and mounts like ladder mounts. I know GT and that is probably my favorite trick. On youtube i posted a vid of me combiing Mcbride Rollercoaster and Green Triangle. I hope i can get into expert level tricks soon but until then i will keep practicing.

it is not the smartest thing to get a CLYW right now you should stick to plastics till advanced even expert so think before you buy

Hi everyone, my name’s Angelo I’m 20 years old and I’m new to the forum but not to yoyoing. I can do a few master tricks and most of yoyoexpert’s advanced and expert tricks, but I still consider myself a rookie for sure. I’ve been yoyoing for about 3 months now and am really excited to improve my freestyle play.

I’m Shane, I’m new to yoyoing and brand new to this forum(todays is the first time i visited) All I have is a Duncan Butterfly and all I can do is thow it down, let it sleep for 5 seconds and return it to my hand. If anyone has any tips or good videos to learn tricks I’m open to all suggestions.

Hey hawkeye (do i sense a connection from M.A.S.H.?), it can be pretty hard to get a butterfly to sleep, especially if your a beggenier. You might want to try upgrading to a YYJ Journey or Kickside. Or if you don’t want to buy online Toys R Us usually has some nice yoyo’s like a Freehand 0 or Metal Drifter.

Nope its for the Iowa Hawkeyes/Marvel Comic Book hero(although I do watch MASH occasionally), The only ones at ToysRUs were the Butterfly, Imperial, some auto return one and Yomega Pulse, at least where I was looking. I looked around the store but didnt find any others. Any specific place they usually have them at? The ones I found were on a rack right at the begining of the store.

Hiya! My name is Greg aka “Motley”. I turned 60 this year so, I guess I’m a newbie geezer. Last summer I got a notion to take up the “yo”. After hours of driving around town looking for yoyo venders, the best I could come up with was a Maverick.(oh well @least it looked nice!). Anyways, after I hit the web I was in shock and awe. Bottom line, I’m now the proud owner of a DM2 and a G5. I’m lovin’ every bit of this sport. Thanks for havin’ me.
