Welcome to the forums @bigstupidbees and @ConnorWilkerson!
Hey yāall!!! My name is Mark. Iām from Texas (DFW) and been throwin for 2 years. Glad to be here. Lookin to meet up with local throwers and see if we could get a club goin.
Greetings~ My nameās Marek. Iāve been introduced to yo-yoing around 2009, but I left the hobby pretty quick. I really got back into it as I moved to a new flat last year and found an old yoyo of mine Hany2 by Hany. I started visiting a local yoyo shop and Iām enjoying it since then. Now when I got the chance to buy the yoyos Iāve always wanted as well. My dream is to get my hands on some pretty Avalanche by Clyw and 2009 Metal Severe with caps by YYF(I believe there was Vashek Kroutil edition). Iām interested in old Clyw throws~ Sadly my first purchase went awfully, from the sellerās side butā¦ Iām still looking forward to any other upcoming trades~ Iām currently trying to learn pops and get some proper freestyle set up Currently own:
Welcome to the forums Marek! Iām sure youāll get your hands on those dream throws of yours in no time
Thank you, sir~
Welcome @Yoyomanremo and @Aristin!!!
Welcome to the forum! I have always been a fan of the various engineers of your nation. Excellent gunsmiths and the like. Perhaps if you are near Prague you could try to put a bug in Josef Prusaās ear about printing some yoyos.
Thanks guys~ I think he already tried to do a few things.
Thanks for having me!!!
Hi all! My name is Tucker. Im in my mid 20s and Ive been yoyoing on and (mostly) off for about 6 years. I remember buying a Duncan imperial when I was younger, but I never realized you could do tricks with yoyos until I came across a video of Gentry Steinās 2014 Worlds performance on Youtube. I picked up a Sage yoyo and a shutter and started learning tricks in my dorm room until my RA confiscated my yoyos because they were concerned I would damage the windows. They were returned at the end of the year, and put into a box in the garage. A couple years later I got back into yoyoing and bought a monometal edge, and thats when I went deep into yoyo territory. Ive played on and off since then, but the past few months, Ive really been trying to progress with my yoyoing ability.
Im currently one of the only people in my area (southern Louisiana) that yoyos and Id love to hopefully find more people who yoyo near me!
Ive been on the yoyo BST facebook group for a few years and finally realized that there are forums here too.
Its my dream to one day run my own yoyo company, and Iāve started learning how to design my own yoyos!
Welcome to the Forums, from a northener (Pennsylvania).
sounds like your RA was a tyrant.
Nah. They were pretty good. Our lounges had full glass windows, on both sides, and I think it came from their supervisors. Im over it.
Hello! We had offline yoyo meeting in Moscow last weekend. It was in amazing!
There were some battles and gifts! And a lot of cool players!
Check our report.
Great video! Maybe give it itās own thread. More folks will want to see it. Were you in the video? If so, what time stamp?
