Just a note but clyw did exactly this in the past.
Got a whole run of peaks painted and released on eBay before any of the other runs. All auctioned at 1 of 1.

Well, at least on the $139 thousand dollar yo-yo, the seller is offering free shipping…
And if he does PayPal, he should be willing to pick up the G and S fees…… which would be roughly $4,180…
Imperial Collectors might want to pick up this USA made model. I bet if you do a trick with it at your local Jiffy Lube they might even give you a discount on your oil change, which can help recoup the $75 Buy Now price tag. Maybe not the Looniest, but definitely the Lubiest listing so far.

This one made me chuckle. There’s some fun old stuff, but not anywhere near worth what they’re asking.
I don’t think so if it’s an auction.
I’m rich again!!
Browsing YSR and came across THIS and it’s NOT in Yen because every other listing is in USD it HAS to be a mistake because I don’t think it’s a typo for $34.90
Seems about right to me just look at it made from the finest of polymers. Lol
I think this usually means they’re preparing a restock. And it still could accidentally be yen, 3490 yen is about 30 USD which is what the Big Dipper goes for elsewhere.
That’s more than likely the explanation
They were already “In Stock” though and when I went to check out to see what would happen they wouldve Legitimately charged me $3490(USD)
I hope anyone that actually wants to buy one doesn’t make THAT mistake , trying to contact YSR and your bank to tell them you “accidentally” paid near $3460 OVER for a plastic yoyo would be a HEADACHE
(The deleted post was because i forgot to hit reply on your comment )
Lol I would hope they would catch that when the order came through and refund it immediately, would be pretty straightforward for them, but definitely a headache on the other person’s end since they’d be without the funds for a few days if it cleared before being returned!
FYI Discourse automatically considers the next post after the most recent one a reply to it unless it specifically replies to another post
Nice!! good to know buddy , because I wasn’t sure and Ive done it a few times already
It’s not near as loony as some of the other listings we have seen, but this definitely sold for more than I was expecting. Incredibly loony? Nah. Approaching loony? Sure!
(Yes, I understand there is some debate of sellers who list high, vs auctions that end high, in terms of a loony listing.)
If you thought that was a lot look at this one

Yay, I think I found a way to make this relevant to the thread. A collector might want to pick this up.
For the loonyness, here’s a single yoyo for $130 less than the full, wrapped set!
This showed up for me in the similar results below and I got a chuckle out of the title. You can “Own History!” by buying a 400 dollar imperial.
That seems crazy to me as well. Out of all the Monkey Finger Throws I would put the apex near the bottom right next to the forte. Ray makes some fantastic stuff that has improved tremendously since then.
I put up a single one of these.
