Would appreciate the ceramic bearing so it’s officially $1000
I have almost every anglam, except the ti versions, a couple slashers and a phaser. The phaser is my easy favorite of them. I managed to buy them all second hand with the exception of the phaser, it’s rare to see a phaser on the BST which tells me something. I also prefer the slasher over any of my anglams.
Some day I’d like to try one the Ti anglams, but I’d be much more likely to buy a turning point if I were to go chasing high end Japanese Ti. I just have a feeling none of them will give me any satisfaction over the metavity, fulvia, ti wisteria or tiramisu.
Why turning point?
Turning Point is pretty much the epitome of boutique Japanese yoyos. Designed and machined (at least all the high end yoyos) in Japan, Some of the highest quality and highest precision yoyos made today, with some of the best players in the world on their team.
What are the most popular turning point yoyos so I can take a look
The Leviathan Series, Palpitation & Mustang are the three that immediately come to mind. But there are a ton of amazing yoyos from them.
Wait, does this thing not come with at least an NSK Plat DS? Speaking of…we need more NSK Platinum DS bearings! Please and thank you
Not sure… Maybe? We don’t always get detailed info about parts. Just ordered more NSK platinum DS bearings though, should be online in a couple weeks depending on shipping time.
lol, emails get auto sent out at end of day, don’t waste too much time waiting!
Check out the mustang or the mustang es, they are Takeshi Matsuura’s sigs but after you spent that much on that yoyo you might not want to spend another 470$ unless you get one used which most people do since they sell out fast, its still a pricey ti yoyo
Pretty nice looking throws forsure
The anglam apogee comes with something’s proprietary concave bearings called adc bearings.
I could see this used for 2 Chainz most expensive videos.
My good friend Joe Moore is actually 2 chainz photographer so that’s a possibility!
What’s the most expensive yoyo(retail value) I can’t find that info
I believe the most expensive currently is this anglam. Skon used to sell a Nostalgia for about $5000 but I don’t believe he offers that anymore.
Is TP ti even made in Japan these days? They don’t say where the Mustang is made, but they do disclose made in China for other yoyos, including $475 ti. Hydrangea’s made in Japan ti the Berberis was $600. No shade I recommend TP over the other high end brands regardless. I’m just not sure if this is true.
I thought the high end stuff was, but maybe not Last I heard most of the ti’s were made in japan.
Now that’s insane… Yolo
