Can anyone actually lock in a finger spin on Hummingbird?

i have the sunbird and i’m going to be honest i’ve never fingerspun successfully on it. i doubt it’s easier on the hummingbird

This video mentions a soft finger and maybe that’s my problem. I can finger spin pretty well but never lock in on this guy. Such a good video too.

It’s possible but nobody can really do it consistently and it’s not really practical at all. It was not designed for that purpose even though it looks like it. I would not worry about it.

Reminds me of the C3 Movitation. It had a similar thing and you would think the dimple was designed for fingerspins but it was not.

pull starts are probably possible though, you just need dry hands

I’ve had good sucess with the dimple. It’s definitely not easy to use, but I did want to test this. I went 10/10 locked in finger spins. So its definitely possible. To be fair I have also gotten pretty good at locking in a finger spin on the overthrow which is kinda obnoxious.
