My benchmark’s bearing was making a loud sound, so I used some thin lube in the bearing. It got rid of the sound, but I used too much and it made it more responsive. How long will it take for the lube to break in enough for it to start playing completely unresponsive?
If put in too much, it might not ever really become completely responsive. If you have some canned air you could probably blow off the excess or just try cleaning it and putting a tiny drop on again.
If you soak it, maybe a week tops.
Yep, did this to my shutter right outta the box like an idiot. I thought I was screwed but I just kept playing and it wore out and became unresponsive again eventually.
