how do you satin a yoyo?

i want to make my yoyo silver rather than the color it is. how do i satin it???

Sand it. Chuck it in a drill and just do to town with some fine grit sandpaper.

If you don’t do it evenly, you can give the yoyo a vibe so be careful.

You can use a sandblaster if you have one.

Start with 100-150 grit, to remove the ano, and then start using 200, 300, 400, and so on until you like the smoothness of it.
