How do you carry your yo-yo on your person?

Pocket. I’ve had to move some other stuff around, and put tape on my metal pocket pen.

Any updates for anyones carry? I use the SGT Sling on my belt. I hate the feeling of overstuffing my pockets and pocket space comes at a premium at work, so the sling keeps my pockets free and my work shirts are long enough to mostly conceal my throws. If I don’t have pocket space and have a backpack, I have the container from my Perpetual Motion that I keep an eyeglass bag in. Wrap the throw, screw on the lid, bam we’re on the road again.

PS: sweet Billy Gibbons, I’m in shock that 2019 was 3 years ago. I mean the math checks out, but it hasn’t settled in how fast it’s all moved.

Holsters are a 100% no go - too batman utility belt and it’s annoying to get the yoyo dinged all the time

I don’t even like carrying them in my pocket so if there’s not a full-sized throw on my desk or in my bag I’ll just throw my trusty Rain City Skills’ Toonie Since it’s so small I can’t even feel it in my pocket

Alright, makes sense. I’m gonna level with you, I just want to keep a hand on the throw throughout the day, it’s my safety blanket for when I feel reeeeeeally irritable. It grounds me before I panic or flip out on someone. But uh, yeah backpack and mini sound more practical. Also, I am Batman.

3 yrs later in still rocking the same mini Crown Royal bag everyday. Surprised it’s held up, but shows only minimal wear.

Fanny pack is the ultimate solution, you can bring any size throw comfortably, it wont get dinged depending on how you store it (I keep mine in a small camera lens pouch inside the bag), and you get all the benefits of having a small bag on you, mine holds a small first aid kit and my essentials.

Fanny Pack.

No shame in the fanny pack, take pride in the utilitarian benefits.

I have one of these:

I don’t carry any into work though, I leave it in my car. Too much risk of banging into things.

I wear mine in my belt, I like the conversations it starts. If I’m in a rough environment I’ll just sling up my Topyo Mojo which I’m not afraid to bash up.

I made a super-simple holster out of shock cord, the shock cord has a little bit of stiffness which damps the yoyo from swinging unless I’m running hard or dancing. I put it around the belt, not the belt loop, which also contributes to stabilizing it.

I can carry up to four more in MOLLE med-pouch which I’ve modified:

Gway bag has worked well for me. I’m too clumsy not to have the throw covered. I’d bang it against a concrete wall walking too close if I used one of the strap style holders where the yo is exposed.

I carry a deep state on my person, at 28mm wide it’s barely noticeable in my front pocket.

I made this holster from a few items at a local department store. It’s cheap and doesn’t swing too much. It consists of a watch band, carabiner, and key ring.

These days, usually in one of the compartments in my backpack, and depending on the size/width, in my pants or jacket pocket. Typically what is carried on me is something undersized or micro.

I always carry a sling bag. I usually carry two yoyos inside, one responsive and one unresponsive, each in their own yoyo or jewelry pouch (faux velvet) to protect again impact and scratches.
