Homemade Yo-Yo Case Thread: D.I.Y. 40 Yo-Yo Case

Well, I got the foam looking like this, all packed tight in this strinkwrap. So, I had to open it up and let it sit overnight to fill out back into shape.

I wanted to make three cases. I bought 2 new ones, and already had one that I wasn’t too happy with. I’m trying to turn it into something I can live with. These are the new ones:

I gutted the cases, and used the guts to measure the foam.

I used a tomato paste can to cut the holes. I kept messing up, so my wrist is killing me right now…that was a lot of holes to cut. :stuck_out_tongue:

I made plenty of mess, and used a Dremel with the sanding attachment to clean up my hole edges. Well…the ones that needed touching up.

Then, it was time to test them out. They look like the first case I made. 8) Each has it’s own unique flaws though. I have some room to grow in them too.

This is what storage looks like now. Back to the closet they go.

The End. Cleanup time. :stuck_out_tongue:
