I made my first home made string today ;D Surprisingly easy actually!
It plays pretty good, and binds well. Here is a pic of a sample string from bulk 100% poly on the left in blue side-by-side with my string on right in burgundy…
Looks like mine might be twisted a tiny bit tighter. Maybe it’s time to experiment with tension, twists, etc…
Anyway, I’ll play this string for a while and see how it breaks in and, if it goes well, maybe even commit to using it exclusively!
